Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Succession Wars

"It may be Cartoonish but it's sure fun to play"

To me, i think that this game is much harder than any other heroes of might and magic game that i have played. The campaign are hard the computer always has better units and resources to start with than you do, but still this game is highly addictive why, well if your a true die hard HOMM fan than you have too enjoy playing HOMM games. If not than theres nothing that I could do for you.

Graphics
All the units and heroes in this game are all cartoonish, well this game did come out in 1996 so those graphics were truly awesome in those years but now its more about 3D and less cartoonish graphics but some people like me enjoy playing these cartoonish graphics game, its more like old-school game. Also the battle screen and the World Map graphics are just like the original Heroes of Might and Magic game, nothing so special about it.

Music/Sound
Some of the Music in this game is okay but some are quite interesting to listen too like there could be beautiful, peaceful music and or you pick to play as the warlock or Necromancer, and you would hear eerie, haunting music since they are evil race to choose from.

Gameplay
In this game your a heroes who rules over corresponding castles, that has it's own distinctive buildings so you could build different units. Like for example the Necromancer hired well dead units like skeletons, zombies, vampires, liches, bone dragons etc. You could also upgrade you units witch makes them have more health or have more skill and have more attack and defense make them better in combat. To learn new spells, you have to build Mage Guild's which provide you with more spells to learn which you could use too cast on the battle screen for attacking enemies units or helping make your units better in combat. Theres also a Campaign for you to do which is like the main story in this game but I dont want to spoil it too you so im not going to say nothing about it.

Replay Value
Sure the game has cartoonish graphics but dont think that this game is that all easy it's really really hard to play and master because like in the campaign you really have to think and know what your doing or your going to get toasted from the computer because the computer is not that dumb he can bring some powerful units a defeat you so easily which make this game have a lot of replay value in it since the campaign take some time to finish plus theres also some scenarios so if you don't want to play the campaign than you can go head to head against the computer and see who's the best of the best.

In fact if your want a challenge or like strategy games than you should try this game out and see if this game is fun for you to enjoy but if you dont like strategy game than you should stay away from this game.
