The game has many different modes. They are all just as fun and add to the whole gaming experience that is 'Midtown Madness 2'!
First of all there are 2 training schools, London cab driving school and San Francisco stunt driving school. In each of these you have to master 9 skills and then take a test combining them all after each lot of 3.ie. In the London cab driving school you have to jump across tower bridge, do a slalom, and practice cornering. In the stunt school you have to jump onto a moving ferry, do a high speed slalom and smash up another car! You can't choose your car in these modes however as in London you HAVE to have a mini and in San Francisco you HAVE to have a ford mustang. At the end of each test you are rewarded with a new car! Next there is the cruise mode in which you can just drive around in either San Francisco or London causing havoc wherever you go. Then there is the 'Blitz mode' in which you must get to all the checkpoints during the time limit, 'Checkpoint mode' where you have to hit all of checkpoints before the other drivers in any order, and finally, 'Circuit mode' which is just a normal race against the other cars. You can choose your car for each of these modes and my personal favorite is the Audi TT. You can do each of these modes in either London or San Francisco and you unlock a car at the end! After completing a course you can set pedestrian density, traffic density and cop density which can make the game a whole lot more fun!

The cars look very smooth and leave nice skid-marks and smashed up things lying all over the city. You can drive over golden gate bridge in San Francisco or drive round trafalger square in London and all of the famous landmarks are there and they are all in the correct places.

Sound:8
Good sounds,bangs and crashes as you trash your way through the city. There is also a funny commentary from numerous characters with different accents which can completely crack you up!

Midtown Madness 2 is a great game and you will never get bored of it. Even after you have completed you will still want to have quick cruise with all the lovely cars you have unlocked!
