Dogs of War

"This game really could have been better......"

Introduction:The game I am reviewing is called ''Dogs of War'', but you already knew that right? First off, this game has some lousy graphics! (Seriously they are really terrible graphics!) Now, your wondering if I don't like this game so much, then why am I doing a review on it? The answer to that question is to inform you NOT to buy this game!! When I first played this game, I liked the catchy phase, ''Dogs of War''. But believe me, the title of this game is nothing like the game! The replay value, what replay value? The sound,the sound is okay. I'll be more in depth later in my review. The story is the best part of this game! again, I'll be more in depth later in my review. If you are interested in what I am saying about this game so far, keep reading................

Story:8/10
The story is pretty good! When you first begin the game, you see a short scene of the dogs?(Robots?) running away from the enemy. The(I'll just say robots) run into they're fortress and try to take out the enemy. You see a lot of action in this game too! When the robots make it into they're fortress, some of the creatures(enemies) also make it into the fortress! You see the enemy run angrily to wards on of the robots. The robot gets behind a tank.
the creature furiously breaks the wall! Not knowing he is surrounded by tanks! And that's all you see! I still didn't put the other things that happen in the short scene. All you have to do is destroy the enemy! You go through a lot of levels fending off the enemy! This is the best part of the game! The short scenes are what I'm talking about
They're great! this is the best part of the game! I deducted two points from the story because the scenes are
too short! So that is why I gave the story an 8.

Graphics:5/10
You might be wondering why I gave the graphics a five. I gave the graphics a five because when you think of a computer game, you think wow, 3 dimensional graphics! But this game, yes they are in 3 dimensional but, when you play the game, the graphics are terrible! They are in 3 dimensional but, they look cheap!(IMO). The main reason why I gave the graphics a five is only the scenes! They show the true 3 dimensional graphics! (IMO) so that is the reason why I gave the graphics a 5.

Game Play:8/10
The challenge in this game is hard! Your the captain of the army! You have to try and fend off the enemy! The problem is, they know where you are,and where your coming from! So it's kind of like stealth game! You get a variety of weapons too! One of the best parts of this game is that you get money for fending off the enemy! That money goes towards your artillery! What ever you choose for battle, that's what you get! The controls in this game are very easy once you understand all of the functions each button does. Though some things are hard to control! Like you might want to fight the enemy fast! But you can't because there's so many options for battle you don't know what to choose! So really the controls are kind of easy! Some parts in the game are easy to control! Like moving around on land! Or even on a helicopter! That is when it is easy to control the army! The reason why I deducted 2 points from the game play is one:the controls are kind of hard(Depending at where you are at IMO). And another reason is The challenge is a little too hard!(IMO). So that is why I gave the game play an 8.

Sound:7/10
The sound is pretty good. But not great! The mini scenes is where the best music is! That is why I gave part of the sound 5 points. I deducted 3 points from the sound because the music in this game could have so much better! When your fighting in the game, You hear a lot of dialog!! That is why I gave 2 more points to the sound. Which equals 7. The sound is great great in some parts of the game! But then again, there are other parts in the game that have lousy sound! So these are the reasons why I gave the sound a 7.

Replay Value:4/10
Sadly, this is the worst part of the game. =( (IMO) When you play through the whole game, you really will not want to play this game again. Unless you really want to play war games! Then again, you might want to play this game again. That is part of the reason why I gave the replay value a 4. The other reason why I gave the replay value a 4 is that there are some parts of the game that you really would want to to play over and over again!(IMO) So that's another reason why I gave the replay value a 4. I deducted 6 points from the replay value because some parts are just so hard hard to beat! And once you beat the enemy, you say to your self,''I never want to do that over again!''(IMO). So that is the reason why I gave the replay value a 4.

Over all:6/10
This game is in the middle between Bad and okay. I'd say RENT! Don't even think about buying! You might like this game, you might not like this game. If your one of those people that like war games, You should buy! I think it is worth 20$. But, if you hate war games, rent first!
