Starcraft: Brood War

"StarCraft: Greatest game EVER"

Howdy, I'm MuuMuuChan, I'm reviewing StarCraft Brood War, in my opinion, the best strategy (and very easily) the best game ever made. What really sticks out the most in this game is the multiplayer mode. Anyhow, on with the review.

-Gameplay- 10/10
StarCraft Brood War, like I said, is the best or one of the best games ever made. Why, you ask? The single player mode is great, featuring three races, each with their own deep strategies, units and scenarios, but, that's not the best part, it gets even better. The best part about StarCraft is the multiplayer, no matter how you play on it. Multiplayer features thousands of people to play with, ranging from team battles, to one on one to even custom made games using the StarCraft Campaign Editor.

-Video/Graphics- 10/10
The graphics in StarCraft are perfect for this type of game. The 2-D graphics animate beautifully, the units are superb and the backgrounds are perfect. These graphics is 2-D at it's best, and they have a great game to go well with.

-Audio- 9/10
The music and sounds are great, although not the best. The sounds are good, featuring voices, nice attacking sounds and the works. The music is also great, but it can get boring, this isn't a problem though. You can either turn it off, or just listen to your own music in the back ground.

-Replay Value- 10/10
This is one of the greatest elements of StarCraft: The replay value. This game seriously never gets old. I've had it for four years, I’ve never stopped playing it. Without the multiplayer, this game would still be very enjoyable, but you wouldn't play it for long. There are always people to play games with. Worried about lag problems? Don't worry, lag isn't a giant issue, because well over half the people that can play on-line can handle StarCraft pretty well, and I never have problems on-line with AOL a 56K Modem. Up to eight players can play in any type of game, which greatly adds to the experience.

-Overall- 10/10
Probably the best game I've ever played. It never gets boring, it has perfect graphics, awesome story and superb audio. I give StarCraft: Brood War a perfect 10 out of 10.

-Rent or Buy?-
Although you can't rent this computer game, it doesn't matter, you shouldn't rent it, it's a must buy. Even if you aren’t a big strategy game fan, you should still consider this purchase.
