X-Change

"Short, and okay game. But definately not one of the best."

When I first played X-Change, I thought it was going to be another typical, basic hentai game. Boy, was I wrong.

The first thing that gets me is you control a female character through out the entire game (with the exception of the first 15 minutes).

You begin as an unpopular guy, who no one pays attention to. Your a member of your College's chemistry club, which contains only 3 members, one being you. The president of the club (being a bossy female), assigns you to sort out some chemicals on shelves and clean out materials. You do so, but because of your height, you can't quite reach the top of this one shelf. You grab a jarred chemical, and fall off the shelf afterwards, spilling the chemical on you. Luckily, it doesn't hurt. In fact, you suspect it just might be water.

Later on in the day...you go home. And find out it was MUCH more than just water...

You turn into a female.

Now, this is the point of the game where I just wanted to uninstall it and get rid of it. I didn't really fine any fun in controlling a female character, as I'm male. But I still went on anyway...

Here are my thoughts:

Graphics: CG Anime art. Not bad, typical thing you find in any hentai game. In my opinion, this was probably the best feature the game had to offer. In most H-games, there's always some other feature I enjoy, but in this, it was mostly the CG.

Gameplay: I think the gameplay in this is terrible. You only choose a few options every now and then, otherwise, it's just like reading a book with pictures. Although the choices still lead you to a certain direction in the game, I still find this ridiculous for a hentai game.

Sound: I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but I turned the music on and didn't hear anything. Yes, my volume was up and everything. But still no sound. Thus, I can't rate it.

Replay Value: It's one of those games where you have to play several times in order to get everything. Usually I'll replay it. But not this. This is just inacceptable. There may be slight differences, but nothing worth going the trouble to.

Final Score: 6. I just can't give it any higher. In fact, I feel generous for giving it even a 6. But I guess there are worse hentai games out there. But this one certainly isn't quality. Seems to me like the company spent at most 50 bucks for the artists. And maybe a pretty penny just to put the game together.
