"Actually the best RPG game..with a few downers.."
Story(9/10)
The story is based on the first adventure, when you were kicked out of the Vault(city in the underground). You were leaving you past(I wont explained it, play the first game) behind and heading forward when you reach the Tribesman. OK, this is it. Don't be foolish, when you play the game, the story became more complex, when you reaches the cities there is always the the story behind it, as much as any history. There is nothing more, play the game and you should see it.
World(10/10)
The greatest, the best!! That's just what I want to have. To play, to feel is just like the real life. Besides that the world has become an awful place to live, there is actually no hope, no way that hope can exist. I actually like it that way. Oh, there is still hope so you got to do the few things for the people, or for the self(if you wish) and there is always some quests to do. There is nothing like good or bad, even go around and kill a couple of folks and the city wont like you and cheese you when you go around, or get down the couple of Mafia families and the cities folks would pray to you. Lets get back to the world. The people can be divided into two groups:The one that lives in the upper city and the one that don't(they live in the underworld). This has little to do with the story. The world can be changed on your action and there is always the different ending which stays on what you do and how you do it. This game has incredibly replay-value, but(like any other game)I finished it just once.
Characters(10/10)
This is when the game reaches its higher value. Every character in the game, has its own philosophy, it is complex in some ways, and besides the Baldur's gate or Diablo(I pick up this just for example) the world cannot be divided into two groups. Good or bad it doesn't matter any more, its the Real life. Characters are different from points to points and they delivers incredibly good answers to your questions. It's like they have been brought from real life. From time to time you meet different people, from folks from the street to president(you kill the president).
What has changed?(1/10)
So what have been changed since the first adventure. Little, very little. I actually don't see the difference besides some more weapons and one more power armor(this people know how to do the trick). All to the inventory, graphics(which is barely awful), sounds, even the pictures in the inventory stays the same. The game is more the mod for the first than the new game, so it looses here some point. This game have better story, than the first, but its called fallout 2, not fallout:expansion pack. I don't say to make a different game, just to make a few difference(better graphics, more sound effects) that the game Can be called fallout 2.
Graphics(4/10)
Nothing to write about. Ah, yes there is some garbage which looks cool, but that is all. The things in this world(barracks, things in the mud,...)everything is the same. This is RPG so I care little.
Sound(9/10)
I don't know if they drop it from real weapon, but every weapon in the game sound real. Oh, and there is incredibly good music, but it looses one point in the explosion effects and the sound of new kind of weapons:such is plasma rifle&co. That cant be dropped from reality, but it Can be made better.
Gameplay(7/10)
The gameplay is ''just'' good. I missed some more tactics in the game. Choose the weapon, go into the battle, take the enemy one by one. Oh, you can feel yourself with some stimpacks, or food(if you have it). If it sounds awesome to you, that this is the game of your kind.
Overall(9/10)
There is so little difference between the first, so if you Love the first, than you will Love this one even more(like I do). The story is incredibly good, as much as the world has changed(darker)and in someways its better. Much better.
