Unreal Tournament 2003

Well, where do I start?, I've been playing UT from day one and enjoyed it allot!, when I first heard about UT2003 I was obviously excited but didn’t really think it could top UT, how wrong was I?.

I have completed Single Player and have seen most of what this game has to offer, it offers allot, the sound and graphics are the best around, if you can run it with all details on max you'll be stunned. The biggest leap feature wise is Karma physics, this is one of my favourite things in UT2003, there’s nothing better than hitting your enemy with a rocket and seeing them fly back into the wall and bounce off, you don't just see, you hear it as well, you can hear the bones snapping and breaking ( which I love }

The maps are huge and look very nice, if you’re a Death Match fan you may feel a little disappointed by the lack of quality big DM maps. For all you CTF and BR fans you should be very pleased, some of the levels on offer to you are absolutely stunning.

Even though I don't play online I get so much out of this game, being on 56k stops me playing against humans but with the new BOT AI you would swear your playing against other talented humans, BOTS are allot harder than in UT so beware, games like CTF can now be enjoyed offline, your team mates work well together and form excellent strategies, if your lucky enough to have a cable or ADSL connection then this won't be much use to you but for people like me it's a god send, 56kers, don't be scared, you'll still get your moneys worth.

Graphics:
Absolutely stunning, I'm running the game with everything on MAX with a screen resolution of 1024x768, I also have 2x FSAA activated and I'm blown away every time I load a new map. 10/10

Sound:
Sounds are great, spot on, I was a little disappointed by the demo sound quality but all is good with the final, every snap and crunch can be heard in all its brutality. 10/10

Game Play:
No complaints here either, Gameplay is fast and smooth ( you can adjust the speed ) 9/10

Overall:
This is the best game I have played in ages, it is defiantly the best FPS I have played since Unreal Tournament, it has endless life because of MOD makers, and already you can download custom skins, maps, mutators and MODS. 10/10
