Review by Mister Ass

"Good game, for a while..."

Gameplay: 8/10
You start out as a random guy whose goal is to become the criminal master mind of a town dominated by enemy gangs. You have to complete many different missions to get higher ranks within a gang. The missions themselves make the gameplay entertaining. Car jacking is cool too. This game's also got realism, because of drug dealing, prostitution houses, etc., anything a criminal does. You'll also die from other causes like drowning, being inside a car while it explodes and falling off a very high building, even if you have invincibility. So it's not possible to become a superman or something like that.

Graphics: 7/10
The view is from top. That means, you can see your character from top (duh) and you can see what's going on around. There's no zoom in or out, unless you get inside a car or die. Most graphics are pretty slow, but it has some nice special effects. When I first saw a car exploding, I was like WOW! But then again, it full of pixels while zooming. For a game with an exact same engine from the first game, it's just fine.

Sound: 4/10
The sounds aren't very convincing. You'd rather have other music playing on a CD player or something... like I do. People will talk sometimes and shout for help. Cops/SWAT will say ''freeze''. Enemy gang members will be like ''GET HIM!'' Of course, you'll hear gunshots, bazooka blasts, explosions, etc. There's no background music. Sometimes when you play the only thing you hear is your own footsteps. If only it had a cheesy ''Godfather'' theme...

Cheating Ability: 9/10
This is for the cheaters... the game is full of 'em cheats! You could have even achieved your goal without doing crap with the right codes. Each different version has some variations on the codes.

Replay Ability: 4/10
The game sounded too good? Well, after a while it can get pretty boring. That is, if you start cheating and cheating and cheating. However, if you try playing missions one by one, you'll find this pretty good to play... for a while. Then it gets really boring and you'll eventually play other games.

Controls: 8/10
The controls are pretty easy. You can move around with ease, weapon toggling isn't complicated, driving is even easier and there's nothing actually hard to maneuver.

To buy or not to buy... that is the question
Considering many people that play violent games like different styles than others, I suggest you download the demo. If you like it, I suggest you buy it. Last I found it was selling at a cheap price.

Overall: 6.5/10

Rounded up: 7/10
