Dungeon Keeper 2

Introduction
Dungeon Keeper II – War Simulation Game with a twist…
Dungeon Keeper II, by Bullfrog, is a sequel to the first one. This time, Dungeon Keeper II boasts excellent 3D graphics, more missions, and more goody heroes and baddy creatures. Exactly like the same one as the previous version, you take the role as the Dungeon Owner. Ordering your minions, building foul buildings to aid you evil deeds, manufacture evil and devilish traps. Last but not least, research more powerful spells to rid the forces of good, once and for all.
Gameplay: 8
This game is exceptionally fun! For once, you get to take the position of the baddies and feel how it is like being the baddies. Although some of you might say it’s exactly the same as before, just that you switched positions, you are wrong! There are more fun things to do with the good guys. You can torture them, make them change sides, or just feed them to the evil creatures of yours. Also, you can allow them to starve in the prison, eventually dying and turning into Skeletons, which can be used, as your frontline warriors. However, as Skeletons are made from bones, it is especially fragile though. A Bile Demon can just thrash your Skeletons, however, there is always Horny to back you up, right?
Audio: 7
Besides the usual speeches that your speaker produces when you finish constructing a building or such, there are also special effects sounds. When a creature casts a Lightning spell, for example, a zap could be heard followed by a deafening blast. Besides that, for the sadistic ones, you can turn up the speaker and hear the humans cry in pain when you torture them. I can see why the Mistress of the Keeper loves that so much.
Graphics: 9
As I’ve said earlier, Dungeon Keeper 2 now boasts excellent 3D rendered graphics. As such, many of your favorite creatures now can be seen up close and personal. Plus, those cute little critters called Imps are really funny looking. They possess this pair of huge black eyes, which is very weird. Well, you get the idea.
Replayability: 7
If you are a keen Dungeon Keeper follower, you will find yourself adventuring further into the story, exploring more dark secrets about the underworld. However, if you are new to this game, you may find it a bit hard and the story a tad boring. Anyway, the replayability factor totally depends on whether you like the game or not, for me, I liked it but I didn’t carry on after playing about seven to eight missions. It’s a bit boring.
Buy or Rent?: Buy.
You should buy this game if the box appeals you, and if you played Dungeon Keeper I, BUY THIS GAME at once. You’ll love it. Besides that, if you aren’t too keen on war simulation games, skip it and pass this one.
