Combat Flight Simulator 2: WWII Pacific Theater

This game gets down and dirty with it is realistic dog fights and aerial maneuvers. It brings the world of World War Two flight to a whole new level. This time (as supposed to combat flight simulator 1) graphics have done nothing but improved which is good. and for some reason the game feels more real and more enjoyable. Part of this good be because of the graphics, One thing I would recommend strongly for this game is getting a Microsoft controller, you can usually pick one up for about $10-15 at any place that sells computers or video gaming systems. ( you know what stores) However you do not need to purchase a controller to play and have fun with hits game, just use the keyboard. After a while be it keyboard or controller you will find that the more commonly used one will suit your nature more than if you where to make a quick switch to whatever you where using before. So the controls aren’t that much of a problem at all really. You will soon get used to them.

Graphics??The graphics in this game definitely improved from the last one. The ground underneath looks quite bad, but there is no need for making those graphics good because after all this game is a flight simulator. Plus it would require so much memory on the disc because so many miles are flown over it could not possible done to make them look lush and detailed. However when you are doing bombing raids the area your bombing with the factories and such , is quite detailed and all together looks good. The planes them selves are very neatly put together. One thing I found cool about the game Is that built holes may appear in the windshield if you are shot in that are of your plane by an enemy. Also when aiming to fire some bullet’s you can switch into another more detailed (sniper view if you will ) which allows for more accurate firing.

Online Gaming?..One feature of this game is it’s online game play. I found this to be one of it’s more stellar attributes. It makes any game so much better when you can compare your self to other people via the Internet. Another good thing about this game is that if you take off some other planes flying beside you will radio you and remind you that your landing gear is down with a nice American or British voice.

In conclusion I would recommend this game to any one who is interested in World War two flying simulators. This game offers everything to fill your needs. A well put together game but could do with some improvements.
