Grand Theft Auto 2

"A classic that will be remembered for years!"

After playing Grand Theft Auto 1 I decided to try Grand Theft Auto 2 and I am having so much fun with this game even after years from its release.

Gameplay: This game only has about 10 keys that are actually used in the game so you can kill cops, hop into a car, and run away with only 3 clicks of the keyboard. The cars are also very detailed, for example, if you steal a big truck it will be very slow and hard to turn but if you steal a sports car its very fast and when you turn it will screech and leave tire burns on the road. My only complaint is that the camera is overhead so you cant look in one way and walk another way. 10/10

Graphics: This is where the game shows its age. The camera is overhead so you can barely even see how high the car is although all the cars are unique and have lots of colors, its not enough in this generation. The character also looks ugly, wait, I can barely even see the characters! 4/10

Sound: Another great part of the game, when your in a high speed chase with the cops you can hear how far back they are or when you burn your tires you can hear it screech it until you stop turning. If the car is big you can also hear its engine roaring. Not the best sound but its quite good. 9/10

Story: Your a ganster searching for respect from different gangs... not that it matters since the whole fn of the game is running from the cops and blowing up cars. 9/10

Replay Value: This game is online but you will need a friend IP address to get a game going so it won't be as easy to get a game but if you set a time with your friends to play everyday then you won't have a problem! Also running from the cops doesn't get boring. 9/10

Buy/Demo: Im gnna say buy because this game is very fun that doesnt feel repetitive even though it is! This game is a classic that can't be missed. It is almost as fun as GTA3 and GTA: Vice City because of the great online play. I'd have to recommend this to anyone who likes the whole GTA series. Buy

Overall: A great game that is very cheap now because it is old so there is no excuse for you to skip it. So have fun stealing cars and running from the cops because I know I do!
