Capitalism II
Review by Wist
"Everyone Loves Capitalism"
Introduction:
You are a bussiness tycoon who is thrown into the bussiness world. Build up your business empire and turn your small company into a giant chain of stores, factories, and other buildings. Monopolize the city, then the country. Sell your products and put the other companies out of business. You are the CEO, you control the shots, you must lead your army of business men into the battlefield where currency are the soldiers and the products are the weapons.
Gameplay:
You are a CEO of your own company. You must open stores and sell products in them. Import them, buy them from factories, or manufacture them yourself. Monopolize the city and own the biggest corporation in the city. Compete your products with other companies and make sure that you have the best all around product. Sell everything from cereal to milk to shoes to computers to phones. You can make the best product on the market and charge them an arm and a leg for it or you can make a half decent product and sell it for less. Your competitor's products might be more of a deal, so fiddle with advertisements, store locations, pricing, and other stuff to make sure your product is the dominating one. Sell and buy stocks on the stock market. Buy out other companies, rule the city, rule the country, rule the people and make sure your products are in their house.
Story:
There is no story. There is campaigns and scenarios but that is the extent of the story.
Sound:
The sounds aren't very extenive, but don't require much sound. However the music really sets the business tycoon mood. This is definitely not one of the game's main features.
Graphics:
The graphics are nice. The cities look decent and they do their job well. However, it really isn't that great and ground breaking. They do look nice though. Once again, this is not one of the game's main features.
Flaws:
This game is the best business tycoon on the market. However, it can be improved. I can't really say what it is, but I'm sure sequels will be even more impressive and with new features, graphics, sounds, and options.
Replayability:
You can play this game for a long time and never get bored. However, if you really aren't into business games, then your time will come much sooner.
Conclusion:
This game was really good. I enjoyed it a lot. You probably will too only if you enjoy business tycoon games. This is definitely the best one on the market. However, if you rather play shooting games, then this probably isn't a worthy game to buy.
