"This game feels more like work"

I have always loved playing the original Sims games and I was looking forward to this online version. I read numerous mixed reviews, and finally decided I had to have the game. I bought it and played a few hours a day for the next weel and I found out something. The Sims Online is the most unfun game I have ever played. I wouldn't even call this piece of trash a game. It feels like a part time job. The whole Sims Online experience is spent sitting in front of your computer watching your sim do something boring. I spent most of my time just watching TV while I waited. There is absolutely no fun to be had playing this boring game.

Graphics 5/10
The graphics are the same as they were in every other Sims game. They are old and outdated, but graphics don't matter that much to me. They could have been alot better, but I expected them to look the way they did. Alot of new faces/bodies were added though. Bad thing is, everyone seems to like the same ones. It sucks running into someone who looks just like you.

Gameplay 0/10
All you do is click on something then watch your sim do some tedious, redundant task for a couple hours. I wouldn't have even been in the room when I had the Sims Online running, but if you are idle more than 15 minutes you get kicked. I just watched TV and would click on the screen once every few minutes. Making money is tedious and frusterating. In reality, you don't even need to make money because everything in the game can be got for free. Forget buying a house, because you will never even be there.

The lag really wasn't that bad for me, but I have a high speed cable modem.

Sound 5/10
There really isnt much sound. Seems like random noises to me. That didn't really bother me, cuz I didn't buy The Sims Online for the music. Its annoying when someone starts playing guitar and you have to listen to them miss random chords for two hours.

Fun Factor -5/10
If you are thinking about buying this game, do yourself a favor and just flush the $50 down the toilet. At least then you will have a cool story to tell. I am steaming mad I paid $50 for this part time job known as The Sims Online.
