Unreal Tournament

"Looks like a Quake III Killer!"

Unreal Tournament is one of the best games I have ever played because everything is so fun to do and the game never gets old. I guarantee that you will play this game through the next year. I recommend this game to everybody!

Interface/Presentation: 10
Comes in a great box which jumps out at you for purchase. The menus and installation are very clean without any sight of bugs. Controllers are easy to hook up and calibrate. The menus make configuring the game to suit you very easy. The HUD in the game is laid out simple with items you need like guns, ammo, health, armor, etc. Still no bugs found!

Graphics: 10
I think that the graphics are better than the original Unreal because they are brighter and the textures, blood and people look great! The framerate is very fast...even on a slow computer 1024 X 768 is easily accomplished on a 350 mhz computer with a descent graphics card. I think this is one of the best looking games for realism. When the game starts, you will be blown away by the realistic walls, floors and people!

Sound: 10
The sound is both powerful and perfect! The guns sound real and have separate sounds each. Taunts are plenty and sound great! You will be looking at the graphics so much that the sound will not matter that much. I think the sound is good.

Gameplay: 9.5
This is the game's weakness because there isn't as much here as games like halflife in the single player game. The multiplayer is laggy without a cable modem but is a blast to play. The weakness in the single player is that every style of gameplay is practically deathmatch with separate objectives. CTF, Assault, and C&H are just deathmatch with teams! It's fun for people who like deathmatch but isn't for people who expect as much depth as Halflife. The computer AI is superb and sometimes scary as they are better than you. Be prepared to die alot on a difficulty level other than Novice!

Lasting Appeal: 10
Like I said, the multiplayer is awesome and will take up most of your time with this game. Also I would recommend trying single player to earn some valuable tips that help you win multiplay. I expect that you will play this forever!
