"Dark Age of Camelot is a great game that is fun for all!"

Dark Age of Camelot is a great MMORPG which needs to be played by all. In this review I will explain why.

Graphics 9/10

The graphics in this game are outstanding, especially some of the wall textures. When looking at some of the walls, I thought that the developers had actually took picture of real walls and put them in the game! Also, character and NPC (non-playable-character) movement is fluid and life-like, which adds heavily to the graphical content.
The special effects when casting a spell of the like are very vivid and colorful, which makes the game even better to play.

Story 10/10

Believe it or not, there is actually a bit of story in the game, which is great as well. You class trainers and other NPCs give you quests throughout the course of the game, and the story behind them is well written. The quest isn't simply started as ''Go kill (insert monster here), and bring me back what's left.'', but they are stated as something like ''I'm making a potion which will help bring joy to this otherwise depressing town. I need you to go out and kill a (insert monster here) and bring me back (insert monster part here) to help me make this potion. You will be greatly rewarded for your efforts.'' In other words, you are actually killing the monster for a purpose other than to gain experience, you are killing it (in this case) to bring joy to a deeply depressed town.

Controls 10/10

To put it simply, there are a lot of things to control in this game. It uses a / command system, meaning that if you type in /dance, your character will start dancing. In addition, there are two other control systems. One is the keyboard, which does certain things if you hit letters without using a /. It also uses the mouse and an in game control system, which is simple to use, but only covers certain actions, much like the / commands. The controls are easy to learn, and the keyboard is even easier to customize, making the controls fun and easy to learn.

Sound 8/10

The sound is good, but gets very annoying after awhile. There are sounds for everything, whether it be walking, hitting an enemy with your weapon, the enemy growling at you, etc. Like I said, the sounds are excellent, but it is easy to get annoyed with them.

Gameplay11/10

The gameplay is excellent, due to the story and ease of the controls. You start out as a generic class, and once you hit level 5, you choose a profession from your class trainer, and gain skills based on what profession you choose. Each profession has strengths and weaknesses, so when you group you get to try out different combinations of classes, which all wield different results depending on what you fight.

RvR is where this game is at it's greatest. Once you reach a high enough level, you can go into the frontier zones, where you and other members of your realm try and take over keeps held by the other two realms. This is a very fun process, but can lead to addiction and heavy loss of sleep.

There is a definite bonus to RvR, the relics. Each realm has two relics, a relic of strength and a relic of power. When your realm holds these relics (your own relics or the relics of another realm) every person in that realm gets bonuses depending on what relics you hold. The relics make
RvR even more challenging, and even more addicting.

Overall
Overall, Dark Age of Camelot is a fantastic game that all fans of MMORPGs need to play. From newb to legend, you will have fun throughout your entire journey.
