Titanic: Adventure out of Time

"Is this game meant to be scary"
My girlfriend sat me down one night a pulled a game out of her CD rack proclaiming it to be ''the best game she had ever played. So good in fact that I bought it twice'' What she did fail to tell me at the time was that she bought it the second time round for a grand total of £1. That price tag in itself should tell you all you need to know about this game.
Anyway she continued to put the game on and I decided to give this game a chance. I knew something was awfully wrong with the game when the first puzzle consisted of having to click on everything on your desk before you were allowed to leave the room. I tell u that had me perspiring with concentration. Things however were to take a turn for the worse when she called her servant in the game. God how bad did it look. The only way I could possible describe it is to get you to imagine taking a picture of someone, cutting out the eyes and mouth then getting one of you friends to stand behind it moving his/her eyes from side to side and sticking his tongue in and out repeatedly.
At this point my interest in the game was diminishing and I just wanted to turn it off but this could not happen until the binoculars were found. I was hoping that if at this pint we found the binoculars we could complete the game by spotting the iceberg in the distance or something and averting disaster. To my horror all we got was a captain who kept looking at the moon thanking us (maybe he wanted the binoculars so he could get a better look at the moon). This as the final straw for me and I made her turn it off at this point.
But this was not the end of my nightmare as at this point I was told in great detail about how the game could be completed (something to do with a necklace and a ruby or something) but everytime she completed she was welcomed by a completion screen of your character being shot. I have sat and thought about this and have come to the conclusion that this is actually a happy ending for you character after spending the said amount of time on the ship talking to badly animated pictures of people with strange habits.
Overall
This game is apparently quite difficult to find - that’s a good thing believe me. The only place that it should be destined to spend it pitiful life is in a bargin bin or at a car boot sale.
