Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II

"A game worthy of the name Star Wars"

This is a game that has been truly overlooked. Why has it been overlooked, you ask? Because of the not-so-recent arrival of Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. Yes. The much anticipated sequel of Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 is to blame. I'm not saying that I hate JK2, it's just that it is the reason that many people haven't heard of this game. But if you do buy this game, you will not be disappointed. With that said, let's go to the main review.

Gameplay:
Not too shabby. The gameplay is great, and you will find yourself playing this game for many hours just trying to beat a level. Also, what really gives this a good score is that you get to play as a mercenary with a lightsaber! Hm, former mercenary + lightsaber = one heck of a Jedi knight!
Gameplay gets a score of 10.0/10.0

Sound:
Perfect sound. This is exactly whay I expect from a game. Great sound. You have speech, you have great sound effects of, say, people dying from the blade of your lightsaber, and best of all, you have good music in the cutscenes.
Sound gets a score of 10.0/10.0

Graphics:
These aren't the best graphics in the world, but they're decent for a Star Wars game. The graphics make up two thirds of a game. And these are great graphics. For a Star Wars game, at least.
Graphics get a score of 9.5/10.0

Replayability:
This game will keep you coming back for more Kyle Katarn and also more swings of a lightsaber. The best part is, the game has a bit of a challenge, even if you are playing on easy mode! Let's face it. This is the second best Star Wars game I have ever played (next to Jedi Outcast).
Replayability gets a score of 10.0/10.0

Buy or Rent?:
Well, since you can't rent it, I guess you just have to buy it and see for yourself!

Overall:
Overall, this game is pretty sweet. If you buy Mysteries of The Sith as well as Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, you'll have a great time with both games (trust me, I have a demo of Mysteries of The Sith)! Like I said before I wrote the rue review, you will not be disappointed with this game. In fact, maybe you should buy it! But that's just my opinion.
