Delta Force: Black Hawk Down
Review by haloruulz
"I shot, I killed, I loved"
WHOA! This game rocked my world! Talk about a greatly put together game. Ok, enough praising. On to a review style of praising!
Realistic-ism(Kind of like gameplay): holy crap! Wonder what it was like to be thrusted into the middle of Somalia? The adrenaline rush of sniping off enemies while the med-evac team rescues your downed teammate? Well this will show you! Get ready for an intense fight! Usually games leave out a few things that are not realistic. The only minor flaw in realism is the reloading. I don't think it is possible to merge clips in that amount of time, but hey, most FPS have this anyways. There's crouching, prone, commands and signals, realistic damage (when in some games it takes 40 shots to the leg, this one takes 2-4), and MORE! 10/10
Graphics: Well, I was blasted back by an intense pile of graphics! The models look so realistic, and so do the guns. The lighting is superb! I just don't know what to say, it is incredibly detailed, from the greatest of explosions, to the smallest chest movement from taking in a deep breath. Talk about stunning! 10/10
Sound: If there's a bullet whizzing to your left, you hear a bullet whiz to your left. If there is grenades blowing up in front of you and your teammate goes flying, you hear screams and death! That was a bit extreme, but so is the sound! Everything sounds pretty good! Well.... there is one flaw. The bullets sound different than what they should sound like. Other than that, the sound rules! 9/10
BGM: Sometimes it can get corny, but it still is nice. It is usually some sort of rock in the background, which gives the game an exciting touch. When in SP, and you hear music turn on, prepare for a fight of your life! I liked the BGM music alot! 9/10
Re-Playability: I could maybe do the Single Player campaign over once or twice, but the Multiplayer rocks! YOu can be a few different classes, medic, sniper, gunner, QCB, or QBC, or somehting like that, and then the whole NovaWorld ranking system. Multiplayer is always good for when you need something fun and exciting to do. 10/10
BUY or RENT: Considering you can't rent PC games, not anywhere I know of at least, I would say buy it! It's definitely worth the money. Enjoy it, then Enjoy it again, for the first time! BUY! BUY! BUY!
