Review by MGale

"a suspensful game that lives up to the X-Files name."

Gameplay 7/10

Point and click, need i say more. The gameplay in X-files is very simple. With the interface of the game is all the items you are carrying are shown on the bottom of making easy to reach for your gun or badge when you need it.The troublesome part of the point and click interface is you have to point in which direction you wanna go in so it can be a little confusing to get around.

Story 10/10

The story is very deep.It starts off prety simple find the agents and go home. Then you fall into something that you might expect from the X-Files.And lets not forget the all new scences featuring Mulder,Scully,Skinner and more(no cigeratte smoking man though...):(

Music/Sounds 10/10

The music is perfect for whatever part of the game your in.Say for example your searching a wharehouse the music changes to a kind of dark and chilling sound. The music is part of what sets the mood of the game which does effect gameplay. Now sounds...the sounds are like the music no matter where you are say if your in the agents arpartment you hear the cars outside, the creaks of the floorboard. The developer did a good job puting in the sounds and music.

Graphics 9/10

The graphics look like you are watching the tv show. The graphics are pretty real when you are not talking to them you an just watch them go about there work and no slowdown the frame rate is smooth giving a polish to the graphics.

Rent/Buy:If you are a fan of the show this game is for you dont bother renting it.If your not a fan rent it and see if u like it.It would be a good addition to your Playstation library if you are a fan or not.

Replay value:If you are a fan of the show i think the replay value will increase abit more for you.Again if you are not a fan the replay value is probably lower because it wont present a challenge anymore.
