Sim Theme Park

"Too...boring...can't....focus..."

Sim Theme Park is a very bad game in a very good series(You know, the whole Sim something or other franchise?). In this game, your job is to run a theme park, but it is much, much, much harder than it looks(OK, that is mostly the lag the game has along with the constant deterioration that occurs to the park), and you also have to keep your employees happy(not worth it no matter how much more realistic that makes the game), deal with the fact the rides break down super fast, and wonder why you cannot customize your rides in any way, shape, or form(you can decrease how long the ride is, but that is not what most people say is ''customization''). This rivals ''Mall Tycoon'' for worst game I have played! (And Mall Tycoon was a horrid PC game!)

I shall now give you the low down on this pathetic game:

Graphics: 2/10
They are in 3D, but that slows that game down a LOT. Furthermore, most of the rides either are not very detailed or don't looks much like the real thing.

Sound: 5/10
You know a game is bad when its sound is its best aspect, and the rating for its sound is a five. The sound is so-so, but it is annoying at times.

Control: 3/10
The controls are simple, but the mouse tends to go too slow for me to give this a higher rating.

Smoothness of gameplay(AKA speed): -1000/10
The game is slow, choppy, has chronic lag syndrome, takes forever to load. In other words, the game has horrid speed.

Storyline: 1/10
A weird black orb thing guides you along a little as you build theme parks. Whee.

Replayability: 2/10
As this is one of those ''Goes on forever and ever and ever without stopping until you are stick of it'' games, the replay value SHOULD be high, but the complete and utter awfulness of the game ruins the replay value.

Fun: 1/10
This is fun at first, but once you start getting annoyed by the games slowness and repetitiveness, this goes down the tubes.

Rent or Buy?
Neither. This game is not worth it. Save your money for Roller Coaster Tycoon if you want an amusement park-building game.

Overall:1/10
This game looks good at first, but the slowness, speed in which rides break down, and repetitiveness kills it. This brings shame to the other Sim games, and is pretty much a bad remake of Bullfrog's original ''Theme Park'', which was also bad.
