Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail!

Hmmm... the question is HOW do you review Larry Laffer? The bad pick up lines... the wardrobe that never dies... the google eyed look when he sees the ''other'' sex... Larry is an out-and-out moron... and it's HILARIOUS! Larry's conscience is constantly nagging him about this and that. The voice actor who plays it deserves an award for this game (and LSL #6 for that matter!).

Given.. it's easy to see why people would hate this game. It's DEFINATELY NOT for the faint of hart. But at the same time, if you find the activities mentioned above.. then you'd probably enjoy this game. ;-)

What could be more fun than corupting a prude librarian with the name Victorian Priciples? lol!

To be honest, the story line is old now... 7 LSL games can really wear down the find woman, make love, find another woman, make more love story line. HOWEVER, the humor in this game is nearly dripping of the CD if you like dirty jokes. And Larry's conscience has always been absolutely hilarious. Gameplay isn't bad... but could use some work.. just takes some time to get used to. And as far as difficutly goes.. it's hardly a challenge... just a lot of do-this-do-that (NO PUN INTENDED!!) stuff to do..

The women could use some work too. I found the women in the previous game to be much more funny. The Juggs were just downright annoying. And that little strip game with Dewmi Moore is just down right dumb. But I will give the graphics department a healthy 2 thumbs up! The graphics in this game are totally amazing in some places.

As I mentioned before, the humor in this game is ALLLLLL over the place. There's hundreds of things to interact with... and most of it is QUITE humorous. Larry seems to get himself into the most... uh... what's the word.... STUPID situations.

In the end, all kidding aside, this isn't a bad game. You ABSOLUTELY need to be 'into' dirty humor. And you have to be able to stand nearly naked (if not totally naked) women. I did, on one or two occasions, think that the adult humor was a littl over-the-top... but that's Leisure Suit Larry tradition. It is also an ABSOLUTE requirement that you've seem another LSL game so you know what you're in for... and to be honest... don't buy this game unless you've seen/played it.. otherwise you might not realize what you're buying. ;-)
