Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield

"God Called He Wants His Game Back"
Counter-Strike, Rogue Spear: are the few great counter-terrorism games that I think of when I hear great game well add this baby to the list. God had must of made this game himself its that perfect. This game ownz all (Except CS maybe.) This game has it all: Graphics, Gameplay, Control, and Replay Value. UBI, Thank you for this blessing.
STORY: 6
I gave it a 6 because I'm not all the way through with it but basically it's about the year being 2005 and you lead the elite counter-terrorism force Rainbow. Back during WW2 some Nazi dudes hid some documents and other things to create a new war since they were losing. Then some mystery men come in 2005 and steal them but also find that they are missing. But so far (I'm about on the 4 level) there is no mention of the story yet.
GRAPHICS: 1,676
Holy Cow (No swears!) these graphics are lifelike, they got even the smallest details down pat. One of my favorite textures is in the first level its a riveted metal catwalk, it's superb! The reflection of the light and everything is great I got killed just staring at it. The player models are nice and lifelike. They even have Ragdoll Physics! In case you didn't know what Ragdoll Physics are...You know how in certain games you kill and enemy and he'll fall through the wall or fall and float on the stairs? Well not in this game. You shoot an enemy he falls sitting against the wall, you shoot him on the stairs he falls and slides down them. Though sometimes the enemies fall and do extreme backbends and land in other crazy positions sometimes (How did the testers miss that.) These graphics are hardcore but then again I am running a GeForce 4 Ti4200.
CONTROL: 7
This game has a lot of complicated commands so it will take a while to get them down and right. This is a complicated and complex game with many actions but they get the right actions to the right key. There are about 3 positions you can stand in: Straight, Crouch, Lying; there are about 4 ''Codes'' that you can assign to the team. But this all sounds a lil' hard at first but they give you a handy lil' keyboard booklet and almost half of it is full.
GAMEPLAY: 10
This game is great I mean they have over 30 weapons easily, along with Heart Beat Sensors, Tear Gas, and Heat Sensors. The game play is great for anyone who like's co-op or teamplay games.
SOUND: 8
The sound scares me sometimes that's how good it is. Sometimes I'm playing and get shot in the back I jump outta my seat like mad. The bullets and various textures make different sounds when hit. The music comes and goes when in the heat of the battle.
REPLAY VALUE: 10
Each time you play a level the enemies are in different spots besides a selected-few like snipers. There's a map editor, multiplayer is supposed to be better than CS I haven't touched up on that yet though. I haven't even tried all the weapons out yet. There's also a custom campaign option that lets you pick: Hostage, Terrorist Hunt, or Bomb Defusal and you pick the level and amount of terrorists.
Final Thoughts:
This game is great I'm surprised there isn't many reviews on it. Great campaign mode, lots of weapons, a great tactical counter-terrorism squad based action (As it says on the box.)Oh yea one more thing to the CS players you can't jump. Overall if you like Rainbow 6 or CS get this game. To tell ya the truth buy 2.
