Vantage Master Online

"Addictive, Strategic, Fun and 1337. Need I say more?"

A great game I encountered that simply deserved a review. Sadly, not many people even knew this game existed, thus making this game severely underrated.

Graphics 9/10

The graphics are rich, colorful, detailed and will leave you wanting for more. We have ''masters'' that have detailed features ranging from their beards to their clothing style. Natials also are designed with a neat look on them. Spells effects are decent to say at least. In this area, it did quite a good job.

Audio 8/10

The music fits the environment your playing in perfectly. It makes you sit upright in your chair, and get your brains thinking properly on the next battle. The sound effects are perfect and you would never really get tired of them either. The music repeats itself through the game, so it might be a bit repetitive. But its still good.

Gameplay 10/10

This is where I got addicted, THE gameplay. It uses a wonderful and unique system in each battle. Its like chess, but much more strategic and requires you to actually think. Unlike most strategy game, where you can just train all your knights to lv99 to win, or build twenty feet high laser robots. All the units are balanced in a elemental ring. Sure, a Da-Colm might crush water unit, and have a hefty defense. But send in a heaven unit, and its all over for Da-Colm.

The game uses a elemental ring of 4 types. Heaven beats earth, earth beats water, water beats fire. Each unit is useful on their own. Summoning Natials requires MP as well, which you'll need alot of magic stones to maintain their usage. Seize important magic stone-areas. Spend your MP wisely, Zenosblead and Regna Croxe will only drain up all your MP and leave your opponent at a strong advantage.

Replayability 8/10

Plenty of replayability here. Free battle option, NETWORK Battle (online). Three scenario difficulty. 15+ Master/hero to choose from. You'll most likely find yourself replaying it alot.

Difficulty 9/10

With three modes for the scenario, Easy, Normal and hard. It makes it fun for weak or master strategist alike. At first in the scenario, you get only a few items, and can only summon weak natials like Requel, Fa'rancell, Hepitus or Guene-Foss. As you battle opposing masters and complete more phase, you unlock stronger natials like Dullamadar, Merme, Gia-bro etc...

Buy or rent?
Its free, its legal. The file size is not big (6mb only). By all means, TRY IT! You'll like it for sure!
