King's Quest VII: The Princeless Bride

"I wanna go on another quest!!!"

Hi it's me! Ok so maybe some of you don't know me, but I wrote one of the Walkthrough's :) . Anywho... King's Quest VII would have to be one of the 5 best games I have ever played. It is rich in story, graphics, and character personalities. I really wasn't to much interested with King's Quest I - IV but V, VI, and VII sparked my interest. Many people think that the story is crutial to games but in King's Quest VII it is the characters and the graphics. The characters each have a different personality and some of them can be very humorous (such as the mockingbird). The graphics are splendid. It is like actually being in a cartoon. Unlike the previous King's Quest and the upcoming King's Quest: The Mask of Eternity, VII is based soley on drawings. Not computer graphics but yes that's right DRAWINGS! Of course they have to be put into a computer and digitized BUT (!) it is pretty neat to know that someone actually drew all those characters and backgrounds. Yes you might wonder why I gave King's Quest VII a 9 instead of a perfect 10. Well it is mainly because of speed. Rosella and Valanice walk sooooo slow you would think you were playing as two turtles rather than humans. Some of you may not think that is very crucial for scoring but in fact IT IS! Oh well just cuz it is slow doesn't mean you shouldn't go play King's Quest VII. HAVE FUN WITH THE GAME!
