Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

Review by IONO

"There isn't enough room here to tell you how wonderful this game is!"

Now with a little more room...

THIS GAME IS WONDERFUL, PERFECT, AMAZING!
Buy it, steal it, whatever, just get this game now!

There have been the movies, the TV series, the books, and now the game. You get to hop into the role in Indiana Jones in an adventure, in my opinion much more interesting, fun, and exciting than the movies, books, or TV episodes! Now if it were possible I wish I could have the theme playing in the background while you read this but I can't, so get your tape or DVD and play the music or hum it while you read!

[Basic Premise]
You are Indiana Jones.
The guy who gets to crack the whip,
The guy who gets to save the girl,
The guy who gets to stop the Nazi's again and again,
The guy who also gets to wear a cool jacket and hat!

Alright as with any of the Indiana Jones stories you are you, and you do your thing. The title should give you an idea of what's going on, Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis, so don't be surprised you get to visit the mystical, mysterious, and unknown land known as Atlantis, and of course, meet the girl named Sophia and have to save her from danger along the way, oh and don't forget about the Nazi's trying to kill you at every chance they get!

[Graphics] - 9.0
For an ''adventure game'' of this nature the graphics are great, this is a 2D game, but somewhat played in 3D, like the background is flat, but drawn to look 3D and you point, click and move your way around. If you have ever played one of the first 2 Treasure of Monkey Island games you'll know what I mean.

[Control] - 8.0
Simple, point and click, though you had options like ''Talk'' ''Pull'' ''Push'' ''Open'' ''Close'' etc, worked out nicely.

[Sound] - 9.0
It has the Indiana Jones theme music, must I say more? Alright for the sake of a review I should, the sound effects are alright, and there's a little music through-out the game and it's alright too.

[Story] - 1,000,000.0 alright, alright, 10.0
This story is wonderful, you will get hooked in minutes as you travel all across the world figuring out how ''Sal'' ''Sophia'' and the lost city of Atlantis are all connected. There is also a feature I will go into greater detail in the end.

[Replayability] - 10.0
Alright that ''feature'' I was talking about is the ''Paths''. After a little ways into the game you have an option of how to continue, ''Wits Path'' where there are puzzles and the story makes you think and use your mind. ''Team Path'' where you and the girl of the game ''Sophia'' travel together and help each other out, although like in the movies, you'll have her to drag around and slow you down, but it's still fun! And finally the ''Fists Path'' where you'll fight your way through the Nazi's! This makes the game wonderfully replayable, 3 different ways to play the game! In other words if you already beat the game, but want to play it again, and have it different, you can! Even after you beat the game on all 3 ''Paths'' you'll want to replay to see every little detail you missed! Trust me!

[Extras] 10.0
They GIVE YOU A GUIDE BOOK WITH THE GAME.
Get stuck? Need help? Want to know if you missed something? They give you a guide with the game, a HUGE extra in my opinion!

[Final Thoughts]
Buy the game, steal the game, rob a bank to buy the game, whatever you do GET THIS GAME...NOW!
