"What was Eidos smoking?"
This game is truly the worst game Eidos ever made! It lacks in just about every subject in video games! However there is one good thing about it. Well read my fair review on this horrible game.
Story 3/10
Ouch! Already without a good story a video game is like garbage. The story is about a guy who finds a dagger called, ''The Dagger of Xian'' or something. Some how
Lara Croft gets involved for no reason at all. Then for some odd reason she has to go find the dagger so this crazy man doesn't take over the world. Lame? Oh yeah.
Then again the dagger looks pretty darn cool in the cut scene.
Graphics 5/10
Did I just shoot a block or a guy? Well it's kind of hard to tell in this game because everything is made out of blocks. For example, if you get close enough to a guy you can see his forearms are blocks, his face, and even his weapon! The only good thing about this entire game is the beautiful environments you get to explore in.
I do have to complement on the cut scenes. Those are beautiful! The blocks in the normal game will take over and then the entire game doesn't look that good anymore.
Sound 4/10
Another huge flaw in the game is the sound. There is hardly any music at all. And when there is it's just a warning sound that something is going to happen. The guns sound pretty good but could be better.
Game Play 7/10
Ok, so the game play is pretty good, even with the horrible story, graphics, and sound. Let me give you an idea of what it's like. You are a chick named Lara Croft.
You go around killing everyone (and thing) in sight, with huge guns. They include M16, Pistols, Uzi, Harpoon Gun, and more. You also have to solve puzzles, and go through obstacles that are in your way. You also can do a kind of training camp in Lara's backyard. All that you do there is some of the obstacles that get put in your way in the real game. Another cool thing about the training is you can go into Lara's house and fool around in there.
Replay 1/10
This game has almost no replay value at all! I gave it a one instead of a zero, because some die hard Tomb Raider fans might play it again.
