Command & Conquer Renegade
Review by Mr Somebody
"Good singleplayer, but AWESOME multiplayer"
Command & Conquer Renegade is like no other Command & Conquer game(that I know of). First of all the game is in first-person view or third-person view, and you control one soldier (Havoc in single player, in multi player you can be anyone) in an army. There are two sides, GDI (you have to be GDI in single player) and Nod ( in multi player you can be either side)
Single Player Story: 8
The whole purpose of the game is to rescue three professors. Sometimes, you need to do other missions like save your allies the Dead-Six or blow up Nod's base. The story is pretty good except it would have been better if they changed it up a little more.
Graphics: 9
The graphics are really good on structures and tanks, but the people look 2-d and sorda squarey when you snipe them.
Game play:11
In single player it's pretty fun killing nod soldiers with flamethrowers, sniper rifles, laser chain guns, etc. and using tanks is even better. Only one thing would be better, if your allies would fight along side you more.
Multi player is way better than single. There are different kinds of games: infantry wars, sniper wars, small battles (32 or less players), and huge battles(33 or more players). I won't tell about small battles because it's the same as huge but with less players. In a big battle it is extremely fun. The main goal is to destroy the enemy base. You can also win by having the most points at the end of the game or by placing the beacon on the enemy pedestal. You can use any person from the single player you want to, some are better than others. You can also use tanks and flying vehicles. You buy the characters and vehicles by gaining credits. Multi player is simply fantastic.
Sound:10
The sound in relation to the game is fantastic. You can hear everything from a tank firing missiles to an ion cannon being shot. The quick messages are cool because the other players hear the messages and are easy to send. The way the computer warns you when a building is being attacked is helpful. Sound is great.
Overall:10
I would definitely buy the game. It is at a very low cost now like $5 dollars(at least that's what other players say, I got mine as a gift) But, if you have bad Internet connection or don't have it at all you might want to reconsider, most of the fun comes from multi player. If you good Internet connection buy this game! You must!
