RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Wacky Worlds

"THIS is the expansion pack?! Oh please. More of a free download if you ask me."

This is Rollercoaster Tycoon 2's first expansion pack. While the sequel was fun and addictive, it was still the same stuff from the first RCT game. It kinda disappointed me, but I was expecting more from Wacky Worlds. However, Wacky Worlds is a definite leading candidate for the worst expansion pack ever made for the RCT series.

So, what's the big deal you ask? Well, it features new scenarios that take place around the world, to Africa to Antarctica. While this seems amazing, they are just regular scenarios that are made differently than the others. You know how it is. Different landscape different thrill rides, rollercoasters, other rides, stalls, etc. to begin with. So these scenarios are nothing special.

These ''50 new rides'' seem to impress people right when they read it, but believe me, folks, some of these ''50 new rides'' are rides from RCT1 except new vehicles, scenery, and color. Some of them are new, but they seem similar to some rides that were already in the game. This is so freaking ridiculous.

Graphics, sounds, and controls are pretty much the same too, but this is an expansion pack, so these don't change.

Innovation: 2/10

What the hell was Infogrames thinking?! These ''new features'' are pretty much nothing at all! These new scenarios are good, but there isn't a lot of them, and they aren't that great. So there isn't nothing innovative added to this expansion pack at all.

Replayability: 8/10

Even though you need RCT2 to install this, this game is still fun. Even with or without the expansion. These new scenarios can add replayability if you finished all the others, but they aren't that special.

PROS:

+New scenarios that take place around the world.
+Many rides added

CONS:

-These ''new rides'' are totally a joke
-Scenarios aren't that great.

Final thoughts

This is one of the most disappointing expansion packs I have ever seen. I can't believe I actually bought this. This is totally a rip-off. Chris Sawyer probably made this for a joke. But this joke is badly told if it was one. Absolutely nothing that is unique is added at all. You are better off with Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 without the expansion pack. There is no need to waste your money on this. This is more of a free download. Don't make the same mistake I made. I was really expecting more, but this ended up being super rushed, causing it to shatter. This turd is higher than a 1, but that's it. A 2 out of 10 is what this game gets.
