"Finally a great online multiplayer game"

Probably the first ever online First-Person Shooter to be truly popular and know Team Fortress Classic has adopted the ways of Half-Life, one of the greatest games ever made for the computer. Instead of an all out FPS game of hell this game uses the element of teamwork (hence name ''Team'' Fortress.

Truly remarkable of what you can do in the game. You can choose different classes that have their own strengths and weaknesses, like a Scout being very fast but very weak and a Heavy Weapons guy being very strong but very slow. There are also other classes as well like Soldier, Medic, Demoman, and Sniper. You should use the class you are more comfortable with and pick a class if your team is short on a certain job. Like with and Engineer, his job is to protect the base with his sentry gun's. The main focus in Team Fortress Classic is to go for the enemy flag and protect yours with joining up with a group of people on a team to get the job done. It works very well with the use of hotkeys so you can issue fast commands, call for a medic if you are low on health, and lob grenades at enemies. You can also sneak up on enemy and ambush them with a crowbar is you would like for an embarrassing kill. Possibilities are endless.

Since this game is kind of dated, the visuals aren't high quality like today but it wont take anything away from being an enjoyable game. The sound is great with the game, you can hear sniper fire coming at you and rocket missiles flying by.

Since the game is all online, it should keep you occupied for a very long time, or at least until Team Fortress 2 comes out sometime. Playing online with different people is like a brand new game every time you load up from a server. Plus you get this game from Half-Life, which that game is outstanding just on it's own. You also get other online games as well, like Half-Life online, Ricochet, and Deathmatch classic. The most popular, though, is Team Fortress. Be sure to try out the others though so they won't go to waste on your computer.

So if you haven't I suggest you pick up a copy of Half-Life and give Team Fortress Classic a shot. I bet you will be almost completely satisfied and feel like you got your money's worth.
