"This game is an awesome city simulator"

Sim City 2000 is pretty awesome, but it is not perfect. You can create the city of your dreams on this game. And plus you can create as many cities as you want, so if you have more than one dream city they can all oe to life. Let get started with the game play, shall we?

Game play 10/10

The game play is the best part of the game. You can build whatever you want in your city. You can build a stadium, pick one of five sports for the stadium, and name your team. Or you could build other attractions like the zoo or a big park. If you have a 1x1 square and want to fill it up building a small park could take care of that. Just remember to put down resident, commercial, and industrial environments along with power plants (and power lines- dont forget the power lines- trust me) and some way to get water like a water tower (and pipes- dont forget the pipes- trust me). You can do pretty much anything you feel like doing with your city that you want so game play for Sim City 2000 gets a ten.

Controls 10/10

Very, very, very simple controls. Most of the time you use the mouse to control your city, but there are keyboard shortcuts for the game also, witch are different from mac and windows. Thats all there is to this section. It gets a ten for its ''sim'' pleness.

Graphics and visualizations 7/10

They are okay, but nothing special. Its a slanted helicopter view, so its 3-D. You can tell what everything is, but i have seen better Sim City graphics. It gets a seven, the lowest rating in this review.

Sound/Sound Effects/Music 10/10

High Quality sound, but then again when you think about it its the computer we are talking about here. The music has no words, but if i made a game like this I wouldn't put words in it either. A way to get sound effects is to take the query thing and look at the stats for a school, hospital, police and/or fire station, stuff like that, or when you demolish something. Quality sound equals quality rating: a ten in this case.

Replaybility 10/10

This game has tons of this. I mean, come on. You can build as many cities as you would like, and even if it had like a three city limit the game is still real fun. Replaybility: rated T for TEN.

Other Stuff You Can Do

What I mean by this is features on the game like importing and downloding. In this game, you can import created cities you made on Sim City and Sim City Classic.

Other Stuff You Can Do On Sim City 2000 Special Disc

What I mean by '' Special Disc '' is where you have SC2000, SCURK, and Scenarios all on one disc. On ths disc, you can watch four interviews with Will Wright, the designer of Sim City 2000. You can also choose from a whole bunch of scenarios like the 1991 Oakland Fire, Unemployment in Flint, and Hurricane Hugo in Charleston. You also get SCURK (Sim City Urban Renewal Kit) which allows you to create buildings and stuff.

Summary / Conclusion

This morning, you approved a new solar power plant, designed an underground transportation system, and jumped ahead five points in the polls. Then you raised taxes (and lost ten points), read two local newspapers, built a zoo, a marina, and a library, and pushed your education bill through the city council. Its time for lunch, unless, of course, theres a fire, tornado, earthquake, or alien invasion... Sim City 2000 really brings your city, and its resident sims, to life. If this game were any more realistic, it would be illegal to turn it off. Thats the back of the case, and it also makes a great conclusion. Thank you for reading my first review. I hope it was helpful to you in some way.
