"Not too bad at all"

First thing, xCivicxPimpx doesn't know what he's talking about. You CAN change the graphics and resolution. In the Start Menu for Pirates of the Caribbean you have to enter Configure Pirates of the Caribbean to change that! You can also change the texture quality as well. 1600x1200 is the Max resolution even though I'm used to 1920x1440. But it looks great. The character models look great. Better than Morrowind. And you can't change the draw distance at all but you don't need to. BUT there ARE a few things I was disappointed with. First thing you CAN'T roam around like in Morrowind. I felt a slight restriction of only being able to follow a trail the whole time while on an island instead of being able to explore a whole island like they claim on the back of the box. That was a big let down for me. Second thing the weather doesn't change while on an island, like on Morrowind. If you enter the island when it's dark and dry it will stay dark and dry the whole time your on the island. Or if it's dawn and raining it will stay that way the whole time. And time doesn't seem to move on the island unless you sleep it off at a tavern and wake up the next day. But the clouds is just a simple background and never move. If you look close the clouds aren't really THAT great...like if it's set on 16 bit color or something. I don't know how to explain. But the game is set on 32 bit color.

Any ways the controls are a little odd. I'm pretty sure that the majority of people who've played this HAVE customized the controls because default controls make no sense. Like for example - Left mouse button is to Move Forward - Right mouse button is to Move Backward. And what's not cool is when your on the boat 3rd person the mouse makes you able to look around but you can't invert the mouse so it's rather annoying not able to do that. Once you customize the controls it's not too bad.

Sound is pretty good as well as the music isn't too bad.
Story seems decent. Seems to be quite a bit of missions to do.
Another disappointment is that you can't change clothes or anything or customize your character for your likings but there ARE level ups and gaining abilities. And battling pirates can be a pain. Takes quite a bit of time. At the beginning most likely your going to lose until you level up.

Overall it's not that bad of a game. If they add patches to add more settings then it could be a better game. They seemed to rush this game to meet it's due date. I would have rather waited than for them to forget a lot of things.

Pro: Graphics, multiple tasks

Cons: Settings, Since there isn't free roam on the islands most likely this game would have a lower replay value, no cloud movement, Controls
