"This is one of the best first person shooters of all time."

Introduction:
Tribes. This is a very high quality first person shooter (FPS). I have been playing FPS's for quite a while and I would have to say Tribes is one of the games that you can keep coming back to.

About The Game:
Tribes is a multi-player environment against thousands of other players world-wide. The game is more than just run through kill enemies, it involves actual team work. People must work as a team to get the objectives done.

Game Types:
Tribes has many different game types for their players. Some of us, like myself enjoy CTF (Capture The Flag), There are also many DeathMatch servers aswell as a massive array of modded games for those who like to explore the game a little more.

MoDs:
There are many mods players can download for the game. These consist of Skins for player models, weapons mods and HUD personalizations

Graphics:
The great thing about this game is that you don't have to have a new graphics card to be able to play on of the best FPS's of all time. I run it on a TNT2 32mb, this works fine and with T&L the game looks great. This doesn't stop those of you with older video cards enjoying the game. I give the graphics a 9/10 as they simply look GREAT!

Sound:
There is no ''in-game'' music for Tribes, but you can still put a CD in or open up WinAMP in the background, I find it good to play to some heavy metal music as it make s the game more tense and exciting. The sound that is there though (guns, voices) sound spectacular. The voices come across clear and are understandable, and the sounds from your gun as you shoot is outstanding. I Give the sound on Tribes a 7/10, only because it could do with a little in game music.

Internet Play:
For those of you like me sitting on a mere 56k or lower modem, don't be hesitant to play on-line you still get good pings. But if your internet connection really is terrible you can download bots that are smarter than human player, yet are still able to be beaten, these bots are great for offline play or to ad a little competition at a LAN party.

Final Statement:
A great buy for any true first person shooter lover. The game-play is outstanding and you can play for hours, weeks even months without loosing interest. I recommend this game to people of all ages as it is truly a great game.

Final Judgment:
9/10 - the perfect family game.
