"One of the funniest games I have ever played!"

Backyard Baseball is a game where you can play with the baseball All Stars as kids with little league fields, and your own team to pick and to win games with.

Story
This game obviously has no story, it is a sports game, but you are trying to win the World Series and draft a champion team.

Gameplay: 8/10
Just like a normal baseball game, you go through a season of games. You can pick which team you want, and which players you want on your team, or you can name your team or pick a team that was never in the MLB. There are some other players you can pick that were never in the MLB also. With different pitches and batting powers to choose from, that makes this a little bit more realistic.

Graphics: 10/10
As you play with the pros as kids, the graphics look almost like them. Some of the made up fields look nice, some look like that area shouldn't have been used as a baseball field. Some people do strange things at bat or in the field, such as there is one player that plays with no shoes on. If you are not too good at this game, you can do batting practice or a single game to understand the basics of this game.

Sound Effects: 10/10
The funniest Sound Effects I have ever heard in my life. If you hit a foul ball that goes far, there's a good chance you'll hear the sound of a window being broken or garbage cans being knocked over. I also really love when Mike Piazza says ''I'm gonna creme this ball dude!'' when he's up to bat. Other sound effects are awesome too. But all other character voices are good too.

Music: 8/10
Good music. Music plays whenever a player hits a home run or strikes out, otherwise all other music is different, but the music outside of gameplay isn't too good.

Replayabilty: 7/10
The only reason I see playing another new season is to try a harder difficulty, play as a new team, or select different players.

Rent or Buy?
Since there's no store that lets you rent PC games, rent the GameBoy Advance version (which is almost the same), because you don't want to waste money on something you don't like. If you like the GameBoy Advance version or have played another baseball game, buy this!

Overall: 10/10
A good rating on graphics, sound effects, music, replayabilty, and gameplay.
