"Isn't worth 4.3GB install"
Lets go back to Super Mario Bros. This game isn't worth wasting a 4.3GB install on your computer.
Graphics:
The graphics are acceptable. Character models are done great, cars are ugly, Smith's hair is weird, yea. The ''Focus'' or bullet-time is great. But maybe a little less frame skips there. The scanning the actual actors made the models great. Not many flaws on that. The bullet trails with ''Focus'', they should have made it transparent like in the movie. Now the shooting, where's my crosshair? The fun just flew away. The smoke and fog, BIG problem. I thought the *Minimum* requirement is a GeForce 256 and recommended is a GeForce 3? Nice 5 FPS with my GeForce 4 MX 420 in the smoke.
Score: 4
Gameplay:
The fighting moves are great, but just a direction + click takes out all the excitement of fighting. It should have been more Street Fighter like. Hmm, you move around with a gun and it locks onto your target. Where's the fun?! Sniping problem. The mouse control performance should be GREATLY increased. The mouse cursor responds 0.3 seconds after I move it. I WAS expecting this to be more Counter-Strike like. AT LEAST a Grand Theft Auto: Vice City grade sniping. This also adds to the ugly, hard on eyes design of their weapon cursor (including snipers, which is also not a crosshair), imagine how hard sniping is :). Very disappointed at mouse control. Yep, I did waste all the bullets on 1 guy :). Can't defeat Agent, or at least scared him away, only temporarily(Translation: Need Nebuchadnezzer crew and NEO!!)(Agents made cool). Sigh, driving missions. Big, huge disappointment. Need a whole new paragraph on this.
Driving missions: What is this crap?! The shooting. Check mouse control above. The driving. Man, if you want to play drive around I recommend Grand Theft Auto:3/Vice. When your driving, its a view inside the car. The camera placed between the driver seat and the front passenger seat, pointing north-west. The car control, check mouse control above. Controlling car using keyboard, check mouse control above. Yep Niobe drives like a drunk. I mean more like a drunk on drugs. Captain of Logos....or a drunken hobo. If you want to show your friends these driving missions, prepare barf bags. Lots of barf bags. Especially for people who doesn't play Counter-Strike.
Score: 3
Sound:
Great flawless sound, music etc. Nice that the voices are the actors from the movie. A little frame skip on ''Focus'' mode sounds.
Score: 9
Story:
It actually fits into Reloaded. Interesting. Flawless story. They show put something in between (e.g. what happens after they finished a mission) instead of going to the next mission right away (on some missions).
Score: 9
Replayability:
Maybe, JUST MAYBE its worth it to see the storyline for both characters, Niobe and Ghost. But I don't think its worth it to replay anymore after you've beaten both characters.
Score: 4
Other Features:
The ''Hacking'' system is a great implementation. Gives back the old DOS feel in green. How to use it/what does it do is for you to find out. More features within the Hacking system should have been added, but otherwise it's great!
Score: 10
Overall:
PROS: Story fits, great sound, great Hacking feature, Agents.
CONS: Graphics, driving missions, Gameplay, driving missions, Replayability, driving missions, not able to stand hand-to-hand combat with an Agent without running away for 1 minute (Translation: Where's Neo?!), no Nebuchadnezzer crew (Neo), driving missions. Oh don't forget driving missions and NEO.
MUST CHANGE: Driving missions. Need Nebuchadnezzer crew.
They made have made this game to tell a side story, but I bet many of us were expecting a ''experience the movie in the game'' instead of ''telling a side story to complete the whole story.''
As you can see I gave a 3
And one last thing
Value:
Not worth 4.3GB install even from a copy your friend burnt you for free. Well, maybe you should install to take a look.
''Not worth the disc its been burned on''
