"You say it's FREE!....well.....I"LL TAKE IT"

I was recently amazed when a found a great game called Return to Castle Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory.The game was free. I couldn't believe what I had found. I that moment I knew it was my destiny to download this game. The long download took awhile but the whole time I sat there drooling and staring at the computer screen. When it was over I heard myself shouting WUNDERBAR!

Before I started though I thought for a moment. Will it be good. I mean it is free. I've played many $50 games in my lifetime that were garbage. So I continued to ponder whether or not it would be good.

In the game I got online and created my player's alias. When I clicked play game I saw many other people had the same destiny as me to play this game. This was where I was meant to be. I joined a game and started.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION

At first glance I thought the game had good graphics and all but I just couldn't figure out the controls.(I didn't know that the menu but could tell you the controls)I instantly became frustrated and quit. Later on though something told me to search for the controls. When I learned them I was back to playing Return To Castle Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory and boy did I have fun.

STORY 9/10
The game puts you into the middle of World War 2 and allows you to play as either the Axis powers or Allied powers in a multi player environment. There are six levels all lasting an average 25 minutes or less. The point in each level is for the Allies to steal, destroy, or make something before time runs out. There are usually about seven different objectives for each level. The Axis powers goal is make sure the Allies do not complete their goals before time runs out. Seems easy but is hard and very fun.

GRAPHICS 9/10
This is what I first noticed and I thought they were simply amazing. Many people may say the graphics are a little blocky and outdated but I thought they fit the game perfectly. I mean I don't buy a game for graphics so graphics do not mean much to me.

SOUND 10/10
I also noticed this when I first played. Gunfire and the sounds of environment are flawless and fit everything almost perfectly. What I was really impressed with was the commands and sayings you can yell during the game. Also the things Germans say and Allies say sound different. While playing you can give your team commands and shout things when you lose or win. Also you just may learn some German if you want to. WUNDERBAR!

GAMEPLAY 9/10
If you care to read the controls list the controls will give you no trouble. The controls are but may take you awhile to remember because the keyboard controls are far from each other. After that we come to difficulty. This game is hard but very fun. One thing I found that is hard to control is when your getting shot your aim starts to jump around a bit. Takes awhile to master that. Next are the 5 characters you can choose from. No matter who you are playing both sides has the same characters just that they look and sound different and have different names for weapons. The characters are the soldier, medic, engineer, field ops, and covert ops. The soldier has more health then others and is good with weapons. The medic can heal and revive teammates. The engineer can build, repair, Plant landmines, and plant dynamite. The field ops can drop ammo for teammates and the covert ops can steal enemy uniforms and sneak into enemy territory.

REPLAY ABILITY 7/10
This is the only problem with the game that I see. There is only six levels in the game so it may get old after awhile. I have been playing for a long time and it still hasn't gotten old however.

OVERALL 9/10

THIS IS A MUST BUY OR DOWNLOAD OR FIND OR WHATEVER JUST GO OUT AND GET THIS GAME HOWEVER POSSIBLE
This is the best multi player FPS I have ever played. With only a few minor problems this is definitely worth the $0 and may even be worth it if it was $50.(maybe) One thing I would've wanted though would be more levels, characters, and weapons. Also I would have rather wanted more hiding and sniping instead of 24/7 firefights but it is still great. So what are you doing still reading? Go out and download the FREE the game.
