Frogger

"I'm not NOT licking toads..."

Frogger. Simple, addictive, challenging, frogger. You control a little froggy who wants to save his froggy pals, but who inevitably gets smooshed. Oh boy.

Graphics- 9
Ok. It is 3-d, but only as in grand theft auto 3-d. You view frogger and the levels from above, but it is 3-d, honestly. The beginning movie is quality looking, and although the ingame animation is not too good, it is smooth. The levels themselves look very nice, althoguh sometimes the camera will go very jerky for no reason. But, although I do not like this game, the graphics are not to be dissed. Also, the various ways frogger dies are good looking, for example, he gets hit by a lawn mower, causing all of hits froggy body parts to go splurting everywhere. Yummy.

Sounds- 1
Annoying. Very annoying. You hear pointless croaks, horrible DOING noises when you jump, and the background music sounds like a cat going to the toilet through a sewn up bottom. But, there is a magical button on the speakers that takes all of this terror away- It is called OFF.

Story- 0
There is none. Basically, you have to save your froggy pals from the evilness of... Nothing. Hmm...

Control- 4
Just when you think you have the controls, you discover an extra button needed for this 'n' that. I hated the controls. They are odd, like croaking ot light up a tunnel, and the superhop button is just plain annoying. The pick ups you can get suck more than a lemon addict, and for no apparent reason you have to avoid really odd obstacles. I mean, why, exactly, would a spider kill a frog? Get the men in white coats.

Gameplay- 3
Crap sums it all up. There are however, precious few fun levels, one where you have to avoid evil bees, and one where you have to go skiing. Very fun, but also hard. That is another thing. There are various levels of gameplay, ranging from easy to impossible. This keeps the game longer. but i got bored. Multiplayer is good for a laugh for a while, but no. Not really something to play with your mates.

Replayivity- 1
You will play it for a while, play to some of the harder levels, then get bored and give it to your little sister to play. It really is that bad.

Rent or buy?
Burn the disc. But preferably not in the shop. That would be dumb. But so would buying this game.
