Age of Mythology: The Titans

This expansion is a very nice addtion to the original game. Think about weapons of mass destruction... no not an enormous army... a single unit... That's right. A Titan.
Also, it this expansion adds a new civilization: The Atlanteans. They are more expensive but you'll soon know why.
Now, on with the review:

Graphics: 9/10

Graphics are pretty good. They are almost the same as the original, only a little better. Each Titan has it's own ''entering'' animation. And each civilization has It's own Titan. For Example, the greeks have a cerebrus like Titan, whili the egyptians have a Horus like Titan.

Sound: 8/10

Not much is new here. But still, Sound is pretty good. Character Voices are very good, and the Titan's footsteps get's your enemy shaking with fear.

Gameplay: 10/10
Gameplay is pretty much the same. Except for the titans that is of course. Ages are the same. The Atlanteans have 3 major gods, who are: KRONOS, GAIA, and ORANOS. They have also lots of new minor gods.
This is what you've been wating for: To get the titans, you must be at Mythic age. Then you have to research the secret of the titans, and then dig the Titan Gate. After it's completely dug out, the titan will appear and you can release havoc upon the world (map, that is:P).
I mentioned that the antlanteans are more expensive than the other races and I am explaining why: They don't need storage buildings, they have a FAST gather rate, and the big thing, they can convert every human unit to heroes. Plus lots more things that i will let you dicover by yourself.
One more thing. You can rotate the map with the mouse wheel.

Plot:9/10

Basically, Kronos gets tired of being imprisioned within Tartarus and is plotting revenge... You then are tricked by him and... Oh well... Just find it out. =)

Difficulty:1-10/10

The Difficulty is pretty much your choice. You have from Easy to Titan. There.

Reply Value: 8/10

After you finish it, you can still play it online, or you can play it against the computer. Anyway, It has a great replay value.

Buy or Rent

Well, if you liked the orignal game, you definateley should get this Expansion. If you've never played the game, well, If you like strategy games you will surely not be disapointed by this. Don't Forget! It requires the original one. It's defenitely a must have! RUN! RUN TO THE STORE... or in other words:
I say BUY!!
