Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit

Now and then there comes a game that is so much fun to play that you will never want to stop playing it. Need for Speed III is one of those games.

Gameplay: 10
Plain and simple: FUN. There are many options to choose for this game. Single player is an exebition race against seven other cars, pretty basic. Hot pursuit mode is the most fun. You are in a one on one race with the computor. You race through the busy streets and whoever finishes without being arrested by the police wins. The police will chase you, set up spike strips, roadblocks, they will try to ram into you and finally when they get the chance, they will give you a ticket or arrest you. Tournament is basically like single player, except with points. And there is two player mode for Null-modum users and there is internet play, too.

Graphics: 10
Beeeutiful. The cars look cool, the cops look serious, and the many rain and driving conditions are really convincing.

Sound and Music: 9
Sound effects are convincing and the music is your basic carchase tunes. Oh yeah, those tunes _are_ good.

Lasting apeal: 10
My new favourite game. Hot pursuit, two player and internet play is all you'll care about... because they're so addictive!
