"Just another Average Nascar Racing Video Game"
Introduction
EA Sports has created many, many, many games in the past, and most all of them have been awesomely awesome. However, NASCAR 2000 is one of the exceptions to this. This is just another average Nascar racing video game. The average Nascar racing video game called NASCAR 2000 has the average Nascar racing video game game play, the average Nascar racing video game story line, the average Nascar racing video game controls, the average Nascar racing video game graphics, the average Nascar racing video game animation, the average Nascar racing video game sound effects, the average Nascar racing video game music, and the average Nascar racing video game fun. This is just the average Nascar racing video game everything.
Game Play 5/10
The only awesomely awesome part of this average Nascar racing video game is the head-to-head colliding of the racecars. It is not the racing at all. It is the colliding of the racecars. Colliding a bunch of the racecars head - on is just so much fun. Colliding a bunch of ugly, putrid, hideous cars in head – to - head action has always been so much fun. The racing on this average Nascar racing video game is so boring.
Story Line 4/10
Oh boy, here we go with the average Nascar racing video game story line. You start a season of racing, driving as one of the pro Nascar drivers and you focus on winning the fabulous Winston Cup. You have to get the most points to win the fabulous Winston Cup. You will have to go week after week after week to a certain amount of racetracks. On every weekend, I urge you practice on the racetrack to make some changes to your car and get familiar with the racetrack. Then you have to go through two rounds to determine what spot you will begin the race in. Then, of course, after that is the race. The better you do in the race, the more points you get from it. It is pretty much a repeat of older average Nascar racing video games.
Controls 4/10
The controls on this game are very hard to control, just like all of the other Nascar racing video games. The controls are confusing. You are always going to be bumping into something or other. This is okay for the colliding of the racecars though. Actually, to tell you the actual truth, it actually enhances colliding all the racecars.
Graphics and Animation 5/10
The graphics in this video game are detailed blurrily. The stands look wasted. And the racetrack does not look anything like a real racetrack. The animation looks like it came from the year of 1755. The racecars collide beautifully. That is the only beautiful part of the game. The racecars’ colliding is a beautiful sight indeed. Sometimes I will just go on over to quick race mode and just collide my racecar head - on into all of the other funky, munky, junky, dunky, crunky, flunky racecars! It is really hilarious seeing all the cars flip and flop all around the place and seeing all the little pieces of the racecars fly all over the place. Yep, that is definitely a beautiful sight indeed.
Sound Effects and Music 7/10
I guess the sound effects sounded I guess so – so, I guess. The announcer’s voice sounded nice, the crew chief's voice sounded like a bell, and the car noises sounded well. I guess the pit repairing sounded like it was real I guess. Yeah, I guess it did sound kind of like it was real I guess.
Play Time 6/10
This game takes three weeks at the most to finish. That is all it takes, of course that is if you are not distracted by wanting to collide the cars all the time. If you are distracted by wanting to collide the cars all of the time, it will take about four months to finish this average Nascar racing video game.
Replay Value 4/10
If you win the fabulous Winston Cup once, you are totally done with this average Nascar racing video game. Go play something else. Now, there is a very small chance that you might possibly want to play this average Nascar racing video game called NASCAR 2000 again, but well then again, it is a very small chance. And it is just because this average Nascar racing video game called NASCAR 2000 is just another one of those average Nascar racing video games.
Fun Factor 4/10
This game is just basically pretty much an average Nascar racing video game. It is just pretty much average Nascar racing video game fun. That is all that it is, it is no more than average Nascar racing video game fun. This game is not spectacularly fun. If you want to play a fun racing video game, try Kirby’s Air Ride.
Cons and Pros
Cons
Extremely extra confusing controls
Blurred graphics and animation
Pros
Nice sound effects and music
Recap
The average Nascar racing video game called NASCAR 2000 is just another one of those average, everyday average Nascar racing video games. The average Nascar racing video game called NASCAR 2000 is nothing spectacular for an average, everyday Nascar racing video game.
Rent or Buy
I seriously suggest you rent this average Nascar racing video game called NASCAR 2000 if you really want to play it. I rented it. Do not, I repeat DO NOT buy it, no matter what happens. You will be making a very, very, very huge mistake buying an average Nascar racing video game like NASCAR 2000. I made a very, very, very good decision renting it. If I had bought it, I would have made a very, very, very bad decision, because it is just another one of the average Nascar racing video games. This is not a spectacular Nascar racing video game at all. It is only an average Nascar racing video game, nothing spectacular for an average Nascar racing video game. If you want to have a real racing video game, try Kirby’s Air Ride.
