The Sims: Makin' Magic

Review by harizy

"A Gamer's Experience"

Sims making magic is a wonderfully new expansion to the famous The Sims. The game Sims consists of simulation, which allows players to interact virtually anything in the living world as well as the virtual world. This game is the new collection to the current, Sims superstar, Sims Unleashed, Sims Hot Date, Sims Vacation, Sims Livin’large, Sims House Party, and The Sims. Due to the number of expansions, Electronic Arts have developed Combined versions such as, The Sims Double Deluxe. Each expansion has a speciality. Such as Sims Hot Date, they have downtown, a location where a sim can go on a date. Same like that, Makin’ Magic Gives sim patriots the power to unleash magic upon the Sims. Including it, makin magic has reached many parts of the world and has brought the power of magic to every Sims game.

Sims’s Makin’ Magic now brings out the Sims inner child giving them the opportunity to change their most hated sim into a toad, clean messes in less then a second and extinguish flames less than a second. The main part of the game is still the same like every expansion, The Sims, The Sims Deluxe, and The Sims Double Deluxe to play. This game however is like Harry Potter. The plots are also the same. Magical Sims is not allowed to show off their magic in front of non-magical Sims. This would cause the spell checker, probably a member of the Ministry Of Magic Law Enforcement Agency. He would come and pay you a visit, no matter where ever you are. You will get a fine from $15 to $5000 depending on the seriousness of the offence. This does not exclude children also. This game is great for life simulation patriots who love games like this. It consists of cooking and every essentials of daily life. This game is very good due to graphics and sound. The game, even though is an expansion, widens the possibility for you to experiments with ways to make a family successful or make it a lifetime hell. I would rate the game as easy to play but requires a lot of logic. The control of the game is the same to other Sims originals.

The graphics and sound of the game really depends on your system’s configure. I would recommend you use a good decent Graphics cards. For sound, your sound card must be decent and acceptable to the system’s requirements if not, the game performance would be ’crappy’.

The game take a long time to complete, probably a lifetime. This game has virtually no end to its history. You will always make new story lines every time you do.

I would say it is a very nice game even if you do not have any of the other expansion packs. Even so, if you are a sports person and would like some action to your game, you probably would not like this game so I would say it is not worth it. If you are a new gamer and would like something new to your gaming experience, this is a game I recommend for you. It is truly a masterpiece.
