"Pretty good time waster..."

This is a pretty decent tycoon. You start off with a building or two and a mountain and try to make a business out of it. There are tons of things you can do. Tons of things you can control and some things you can’t. Like a Giant white Bigfoot who comes and eats your visitors. I believe the name is Sasquatch. Here is what you basically do:

Buy buildings. From them you get revenue, with it you buy more buildings. Make more revenue. But the more buildings you have the more people come the more needs they have. So once you have a lot of traffic you’ll need clinics for injured skiers. You’ll need bigger lifts, and you’ll want more condos and cottages. Basically it’s just a generic tycoon game with snow.

But there are a hell of a lot of things you can do. You can totally control everything, make more snow, cut trees, adjust the snow to fit it however you want. Build ice rinks, sky jumps, restaurants. And you will want to. You get to see a whole mountain grow and develop and it’s pretty cool. I like the fact that increased success forces you to buy more buildings. And you get a sense of pride once you fill your mountain up. And what is the point of this pride? Well I don’t know, check the game out and see. I liked filling my mountain with useless buildings and then getting sued by the families of skiers who got abducted by my giant monkey and losing everything. Then watching my computer crash and when someone asks, “how’s that game” I just reply “Oh I crashed at 1 million revenue” I’m a loser, sue me, like that family did!

Well, what happens when you do, what happens when you fill up your mountain? You perfect it. You can add tons of things, Lamps, side walks, benches. And it all contributes to fun; you can landscape and personalize your mountain to what you like. And then you watch the cash flow in!

But what happens when you have a perfect mountain? Perfect in your eyes anyway. Well what happens? You return the game is what happens. This is definitely a rental. You won’t want to buy this since once you are done passing the time there is nothing really to do besides try it with less money and more stupid skiers.
