Delta Force

"A cool combination of GI Joe & Quake"
The game: A 1st person shooter, I kinda think of it as Quake meets GI Joe, where you go on missions in Africa, kill the bad guys, rescue hostages, etc.
Graphics: 8: The landscape looks great in this game, and so do all the building and characters too. However, some of the terrain looks blurred up close, and it's hard to make out characters far away.
Sound: 9: Not much background music to this title, you really don't need one for a 1st person shooter game any ways(even though some games like Goldeneye 007 prove us wrong), but most of the sound effects sound great, and the death cries I get a great kick out of as well.
Gameplay: 8: Well, it's a 1st person shooter, and you got a nice variety of guns to choose from with sniper scopes and auto-fire features. You can create a soldier, and then pick a mission to do from a campaign, some goals for missions will be pretty easy like just to kill off all the bad guys, but some you'll have to be more careful in like rescuing hostages and retrieving data and whatnot. The sniper scope feature is awesome, because if you right click you get a circle on the screen, up close, of where you are aiming, and it makes shots a lot easier to pull off. It's kinda hard to make sure no enemies are around, since they sem to pop out of nowhere, and they look like little specs far off.
Replay Value: 8: One player mode gets tiresome after a while, but thank gosh there's a multiplayer mode, you can duke it out over modem, or over the internet on an IPX Network, or through the game's own online service. The game keeps track of all the kills you get too.
Overall: 8: Well, the game is fun to play, especially in multiplayer mode, but if you can't get online to play, you might get tired of it after a while, but if you like 1st person shooters such as Doom and Quake then you might wanna check out this title.
