Ever played Pocket Tanks? Or any of the Worms games out there? Like ’em? Well then this game might just be the game for you…

Graphics (10/10)

The anime-ish style drawings really appeal to the eye. Just the normal 2-d stuff but the creators also added the hint of 3-d. The bullets being fired from your mobile, and the arena are mostly 3-d. The biggest thing is the ground breaking away from underneath your very feet. You can see the smallest pieces fly away through the air as your ammo rips through the ground.

Sound (10/10)

There are 20 songs that are played in the various levels of GunBound. Every tune as catchy as the last. The quality of the sound is superb and as you get lost in the game, the music will be one of the things that will keep you wanting MORE.

Gameplay (10/10)

This is where it gets good. The game is sort of like Pocket Tanks, or Worms….but on crack. Very high quality crack though. You can select through 14 different “mobiles” with two secret ones. The different mobiles have their own different primary, secondary, and ultimate weapons. Each mobile also has it’s advantages and dis-advantages. Some have a better defense, some have stronger weapons, and others are just all-around bad. The Gameplay in GunBound is very addicting though.

Controls (10/10)

How much more simple could they get? You use the arrow keys to move. Left and right arrow keys to move to the left and the right, and the up and down arrow keys to change your angle to aim where your shot will be headed. You use the space bar to control the power of your shot, much like pocket tanks. The longer you hold it down the harder, faster, father, and stronger your shot will be.

Play Time (10/10)

Ah one could play this game for HOURS at a time and not even catch a hint of boredom. The constant switching of games, or just staying in the one you’re already in. Getting to meet new people online is very fun. Chatting with them, and learning about them is a great time.

Replayability (9/10)

I only gave this a 9/10 because the Gameplay DOES get repetitive. Joining games, killing everyone, getting out of the game, joining games, killing everyone, getting out, and so on and so forth. They added some excitement, with you being able to buy “avatars” to make your character look cool. They have different costumes for guys and girls.

Overall (10/10)

Very interesting game, and it’s FREE. I suggest for EVERYONE do download it from: http://www.gunbound.net/. If you have a cable connection, DSL, 56k, or whatever. Download it. And with the games “foul language censor” it allows people who would rather not be exposed to cuss words, have their fun in a nice environment.
