"Gunbound: The free online game thats actually good"

Ah, Gunbound. I discovered it after looking for a good, free, online game. After looking over many that were either costly or just not fun, I was about to give up on my search, but then I found this.

Graphics: 9/10. The graphics for this game are pretty good. There are animated backgrounds, and each bot has its own unique look. The look of the shots you take depend on your mobile (The thing you are controlling). If you take a shot as a wooly-mammoth-like character named you will shoot snowflakes, but if you take shots as a monster truck named Bigfoot you will shoot missiles.

Sound: 7/10. The sound effects for this game are accurate. If you shoot the wooden boomerangs of Boomer or the snowflakes of Ice, you won't hear a giant explosion but something that makes sense with what you are shooting. But, the music is awful. It sounds like something you would hear in a dentists office, or an elevator. I suggest you listen to a CD instead.

Control: 10/10. It is very easy to control your mobile. You use
the arrow buttons to move, and the spacebar to shoot. The simplicity of these controls makes this game easy to get the hang of for new joiners (who are often called ''chicks'').

Gameplay: 9/10. The point of the game is to either destroy your enemies by sending many shots at them, or shoot the ground so many times they fall through it. The second option is harder, but if you get a good opportunity its best to try it. It is called ''Bunging''. There are 3 different kinds of shots for all of the mobiles, with the third being the strongest. You have limited use of it. All of the bots have different strengths and weaknesses, and a type. All types are strong against a certain other type, but also weak against some others.
There are different kinds of powerups, with some being teleporting, having two shots in a row, sacrificing your health to hurt your opponents more, and shooting thunder at your opponents.
There are three different types of play, Solo, Tag, and Score. With Solo you control one bot, and once it's gone, you aren't coming back. If you are eliminated then your mobile stays in the sky, and you control a slot machine. The things that the slot machine can let you do are stop wind, change the winds direction, throw hammers at your opponents, throwing dynamite at your opponent, giving powerups to your partners, creating thunder, and getting yourself an amount of either 10, 50, or 100 gold. On tag, you control one bot that you can change on your turn by pressing F7. Other than that, it is identical to solo. Score is also the same as solo except for the fact that your team has three lives and your opponents have three lives. If you die, you can come back. The first team to get rid of all of their opponents lives wins.
There are different ranks which control your power. The first 5 are Chicken, Bronze Hammer, Double Bronze hammer, Stone Hammer, and Double stone Hammer.

Replay: 10/10. Since it is an online game, and you are playing against other people, they all have different styles. You never know what they will do.

Overall, this is a really good game. I definitely recommend a download.
