"Sim fans will enjoy, but either ya love it or hate it!"

In a world where most video games are "kill the bad guy", "collect all the coins" or even more famous, "save the princess!" Sim City 3000 offers a different kind of game.

You probably know the "story". Your the mayor of a city you build yourself! Very fun aspect. Maybe their is just something about spending a lot of time, effort, and hard work to say the least on a city - something you build from the ground up. You build each block of the city yourself, run electrical power and water to it, put bus stops down the road, pretty much everything you can think of in a real city right down to the landfill.

This game is actully very fun - its interesting to see how people react to things. If you raise the taxes, people will move out of your city. If you put to much industrial space in, their will be to much smog and pollution - no one will want to live their. If you don't put enough schools, libraries, or police stations in, people will find other places to go!! And you don't want that, you want residents to move in, and get their tax money!!!

Be assured this isn't the kind of game that will take you "15 hours to beat". You would have to sit down, and really commit yourself to building a city you can be proud of!!

I for one like Sim City 3000. Its graphics are outstanding 9/10 right down to pedestrians walking their dogs down the street and stopping at a fire hydrant. but sound, Sound is 10/10!! The music is perfect to work by!! Replay value is 10/10 also. You can build new cities up, destroy them with monsters and build again and again, different each time. The is no storyline , but talking to mayors of other towns and striking deals with them about moving a new football team or paying money for them to take your garbage away so your town doesn't stink is interesting.

The one aspect that could make Sim 3000 a bad game is that it does however get somewhat boring after a while - a long while non the less. But what game doesnt? I would be more board with a game like mario where you only have one objective, and once you do that all over! (not to pick on mario, i love the guy)

But Pick this game up if you liked Sim 2000, because you sure would like 3000 much better. A fun game to spend a lot of time on!! 8/10!!
