"Welcome to Megarace! The show that makes reality wish it wasn't!"

My parents brought me a DOS computer couple of years back.(I don't have it anymore) And this game came with it. I was pretty anxious to play the game so I hooked up the computer and played it when I got it working. I played the game for a couple of hours trying to see how far I can get without dying or losing. Well, the farthest I got was the 6th (I think) stage. So, the main question is...Is this a good game? Let's see!

Graphics: 7/10
This game had some good graphics...at its time. Now it's just outdated and crappy compared to the games we play today. The track is in 3D and the cars are 2D. I'm wondering why didn't they make the cars 3D? It pretty dumb if you ask me.

Sound/Music: 9/10
The music is great techno music! Especially the music on stage 3 and 4! The sound is pretty good. I just hate the sound of my machine gun! And there is no engine noise either. (boo!) Oh and how could I forget the ever annoying Lance Boyle (The host of MegaRace). I admit that he's funny sometimes. But he's mostly annoying! You can turn him off in the option menu (Thank god!)

Control: 9/10
The control is pretty easy to master. You have buttons that accelerate, brake, turn left/right, and fire machine gun.

GamePlay: 7/10
Okay, when you begin the game, You start off with 3 cars. Each car has its strengths and weaknesses. When you pick a car, you go to the track. The object of the game is to destroy every car that's on the track with your trusty machine gun. You can run over the symbols on the road to get points, speed up or reload on ammo. Be careful! The symbols can either help you, or ruin you (slow you down, decrease points, steal your ammo)! When you complete the track, you will unlock a car and go to the next track. There are 8 cars in the game. 3 from the start, 5 to unlock.

Overall Rating 7/10
Well, it's definitely not the best game in the world. It's kinda boring and repetitive. But it get harder at you progress. But still, it's pretty dull compared to any other racing game out now. But it is pretty challenging and fun to play during your spare time.The only way I could ever be addicted to this game is if I ate a lot of sugar or if I was extremely bored.
