B-17 Flying Fortress

"Well...this game is good at one thing anyways....."

Wow...when playing this game, I seriously thought of commiting suicide about every five seconds. This game is good at one thing, and one thing only, it is the most frustrating and annoying game that I have ever played.

Now, first of all, let it be known that the farthest I've gone into the world of flight simulation is in an old sega genesis game, and battlefield 1942. But, when I played this game, it was one of two things: Way too hard, or extremely un-user friendly.

Graphics 7/10
Well, the graphics in this game are not too bad, in fact they're fairly good, but nothing amazing.

Sound 2/10
All there is to say here in the audio section is, if you play the game, which I reccomend you do not, you will mostly just here engines and a couple of guys giving air commands. There is no background music and you'll be lucky if you ever here the sound of a gun or a bomb.

Gameplay -5000/10
The gameplay in this game is so amazingly awful that I could not stand to play it for any longer than an hour, and I'm lucky I went that long. The only people in the world who might be able to even play this game are pilots themselves or the game programmers. There may be a possibility that with many hours of study of the lengthyinstruction manual that you may be able to play this game, but it's not likely. I went looking for a flight sim that I could put in and play and just have dogfights galore, this is not what I found. When I tried playing this atrocious game, I went into the instruction manual and followed every direction step by step and I still could not even get onto the main runway, let alone take off to do a mission.

Replay Value 0/10
If someone can ever even begin to play this game in the first place without complete aggravation, then there may be SOME replay value, but the game is so frustrating to een try to play that I highly doubt anyone will ever be able to.

My final reccomendation with this game is this:
Unless you wante to experience the one thing this game is good at, which is frustrating anyone who tries to play it, then please, do not buy this game. I'm glad for one thing and one thing only, this game cost me less than fifteen dollars, but even so, the price I paid was way too high for this piece of crap.
