The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

"Morrowind is one of the best RPGs ever!"

First of all, i need to tell you that i own this game 1/2 year now and i have 2 expension packs with it. I am not one of those who play a game 1 day and then say it is perfect, because almost every game is pretty good in the beginning. The question is: how long will a game take till it become boring. There are many games that i had finished in 1 or 2 days. I hate these games. Thats why I loved morrowind. You dont finish it in a few days. But you need a very long time to finish it without a walktrough or cheats. You not only play it for long, but you play it with fun. Morrowind will become your second life!

Gameplay-> 7/10

Hahaha, maybe you think when you see the score, why do he gives this game a 10 if the gameplay is so bad that he will give it a 7, of course a 7 is not so bad but it isn't so good that it deserves a 10, but morrowind is not like others.... In the beginning you play Morrowind with so much fun that you would give it a 10. But when you play it so long, you see things at the game, that aren't so good. For exemple, they say: You have TOTAL freedom to do what you want. Its almost true, you can buy a sword, kill everyone in the city.(if u r at a high enough level), you can blow fireballs out of your hands to burn people. You can fly up in the sky and watch the sunset. You can steal expensive things out houses. This sounds great, isn't it? But, in every house there is a table and a few chairs. Really, i have never seen someone sitting in a chair. YOU cant sit in a chair to. Everywhere there is food, you cant eat, nobody eats. Nobody, i mean nobody sleeps. You can walk for 1000 hours in the game without sleeping. I cant do that in real life=D The world of vvardenfell (morrowind) is really HUGE! Thats good, but sometimes if you must make a long walk, and you dont have a fast character, its superb boring. Morrowind gets repetive. If you have seen 1 tomb, you have seen ALL tombs. Every tomb looks the same. Almost all caves looks the same. This are all bad things, but the worst thing of them all is that your character can become something else that he wants in the beginning. For exemple, my archer can be EXTREMELY powerfull with spells. Thats stupid I think. Another thing, if you want that a person likes you? No problem, just give him some money. If he dont want it, just try again, now he likes you. ALL missions are the same, just go to someone, give him this or kill him. There are only a few quests that are really fun. The melee fighting system sux hard. You just have to push the buttons!! Now, it looks like i hate this game, no, i have played the game with very much fun. There are many good things on this game. There are a BILLION OF QUESTS in this game. Thats very good. You can join mage, fighter or thieves guild. There are many other clubs you can join. The magic system works very well. As i sais before, the world is huge. Its really well done that everyone has a name, since there are so many peoples thats very good. There is very much to do.

Graphics->10/10

Graphics are spectaculair in this game. Sometimes i just stand there in the game and watch the sunset. Or no, the stars, the space, thats really wonderfull to see. Characters looks nice, not wonderfull, but good enough. Water looks good to, same as the sky.

Sound-> 1/10 - 10/10

Sound is to hard for me to dicide. The soundtrack is SUPER good. One of the best i ever heard. But, there are only 1 or 2 tracks. There are almost no soundtracks but the soundtrack that there is, is super good. You may decide.

Replay->almost infinity

Replay is where Morrowind shines. There is so much to do in vvardenfell. Billions of quest, weapons, people, everything. And if you start over, morrowind goes very different. Look, when you read this review you think why he gives this game a 9. The game is NOT perfect, but if that takes more then 300 hours to decide, the game is infact perfect.

Rent/buy

This game is in stores for 5 $ YOU HAVE TO BUY IT!!! Its defenitly worth that 5$ You will play morrowind, you will play morrowind more, more and more, you will love morrowind for a very, very long time. And if not, then you lost 5$ :P:P:P:P:P
