"A must have for MOHAA fans"

Intro- Wow. Thats what I have to say about the awesome Medal of Honor:Allied Assault Spearhead. Although its only an expansion to the award winning MOHAA, it feels as though you are playing a totally improved sequel. Spearhead has shooting, stealth, rail-gunning, and even a level where you drive around in a Russian tank through Berlin. This game took all the areas in MOHAA that needed improvement and fixed them. From jumping into nazi-occupied Europe to the icy Battle of the Bulge, Spearhead never feels repetive or linear. The scripted elements are brilliant, such as German artillery striking a tree, which collapses onto some unfortunate Allied soldiers hiding in a trench. So here is a brief overview of the games elements-

Gameplay- Wam! I smack a troublesome SS soldier in the face with my shotgun, sending him crashing to the ground. Spearhead lets you whack at enemies with every single weapon, instead of just the pistol like in AA. This is much more realistic, as in the first one the enemy could hit you with rifles but you couldn't whack them. Antoher new feature is that you can cook grenades, causing much bigger explosions, which is useful for taking out rooms full of enemies. The AI is intelligent, such as tossing a grenade back at you or running for cover. Your teamates are actually pretty helpful, and will supply you with lots of help in numerous situations. There are also many more new weapons, from German and British to Russian! Spearhead adds 3 new levels to AA, which are Berlin, Bulge, and France. These all vary in objectives, scenery, and background. Overall gameplay gets 10/10.

Graphics- The graphics in Spearhead are really well done too. Enemies actually look like humans at far distances, and the environment is very detailed. The weapons are historacally accurate, and there are scripted sequences everywhere. Graphics get a 9/10.

Sound- The sound in Spearhead is incredible. From exploding shells to flying bullets, sound has always been MOHAA's strongpoint. The music adds wonderfully to the scenes, and the Germans speak in their native language to each other, making this feel authentic. Sound gets 10/10.

Replayability- Spearhead is fun before you beat it, and once you beat it, you can still go back to the missions to earn medals for achieving certain tasks. And killing nazis never gets old. 7/10

In the end, Spearhead is a wonderful expansion truly deserving of a medal of honor. Overall this game earns a 9/10. Defiantly worth a look.
