"An old GTA wannabe"

This is a game that is similar to Grand Theft Auto. The difference is that you cannot get out of the car and must go to a gas station repeatedly.

Graphics - 8 out of 10
The graphics are the best among the Sim City 2000 Suite of games. This game is a decent graphical game for when it came out. The vehicles do not represent real cars in any way. While the graphics aren't great, they are decent.

Gameplay - 1 out of 10

With this game, you had to use cheat codes to even play and the career mode was not playable. In the career mode, you were the driver on fake TV programs. The free-play mode featured a level where nothing happened and 3 insanely hard other levels. You also could not get the sweet cars that you could make outside of the lowest free-play level. The thing was that you could make cars even though they all stunk.

Create A Car Mode - 4 out of 10

The CAC (Create A Car) Mode as I refer to it allowed you to make cars that you could drive. All of the cars were either junk or way too expensive. The only good thing about this mode was that it let you make a slightly featured car.

Cheat Codes - 6 out of 10

The basic cheats were in this game and they were easy to enter, but there was no money cheat. That in itself ruins the rest of the codes. The weapons cheat was there though and that created about 5 hours of gameplay

Create A Track Mode - 4 out of 10

There was a Create a Track mode that allowed you to pick a city and create a race track in it. I created an oval with a pit road in the City Creation kit and then made the track. It crashed my computer which was state of the art when it came out. This mode was good until the difficulty got to it.

Difficulty - 10 out of 10

This game was more difficult than the Grand Theft Auto series. You could spend hours playing 1 level and not because you enjoyed it either. You might decide you have to beat a level and spend hours screaming at your PC.

Should you buy this game - No

You should not buy this game unless you can get it under a dollar. At that price you may want to buy it because you could spend a few hours playing parts of this game. I don't believe that back in the 90s, I spend an hour a day on this game.
